Awesome experience. Better than expected. Good equipment, nice shuttle service and really fun trail. Almost no traffic early in the morning and cool weather. Had a fun time.

This was an amazing experience! I am very glad we did the self guided and were able to explore the park at our pace. We got to stop at all the viewing areas/trailheads. The views were breathtaking. I will note that there are two routes to ride back to the bike shop. We chose the easier but busier route. We were not on the road for too long but there were a few major intersections. I don’t think I would take kids or my grandma on this tour or maybe take the other route back. I would however do this tour again myself!

Beautiful Trip Out Of Vegas

Our guide Chris led a great tour to Red Rock Canyon and made it a very enjoyable afternoon in the hot Las Vegas sun. On the beautiful e bikes we rode, it was no chore at all to ride 11 miles in the hottest time of the day. We are not cyclists, but became fans of the electric assist bikes we rode. Long hills were nothing. Chris was a great guide, kept us hydrated and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommended trip. Amazing how wonderful the scenic wonders are so close to Las Vegas. Escape Adventures and Las Vegas Cyclery are an unbeatable combination.

Misleading discription, bad experience

We have been totally disappointed about this tour. Nobody tells you the bike station is in the middle of town but not next to the canyon. They expect you to ride through town to get to the canyon instead of starting the tour at the canyon. How should a tourist who doesn't know the area assume the bike station is not at the canyon, and how should he find his way through town without a guide or a map? Besides he would not have enough time to explore the canyon because the pick up time at the bike station to return to Las Vegas is at 11.30am. Therefore we didn't use the bikes but had a coffee at a restaurant next door before we got back to Las Vegas. Wasted time and money. Extremely disappointed.

Fun Day

Let me start by saying, the only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the confusion on the actual ride route for guided and self guided. We had chose the guided route but once we got out there and realized our tour would run along the highway and not through the actual scenic road of the Park, we chose to go with the self guided group and we are so glad we did. We were uncomfortable riding along the highway. The self guided route was so beautiful and provided what we think was a much more scenic up front view of the Park. Would absolutely do this again. The electric bikes were awesome. Just wish we would have realized or it was a little more clear in the description of the route, we could have saved ourselves a considerable amount of money for the self guided tour.

My husband and I went with another couple. Not all of us are seasoned bike riders, but the ride was very doable because of the pedal assisted electric bikes. The route was beautiful.

SELF GUIDED ELECTRIC BIKE TOUR

I made a booking for a Guided Tour. Shortly I received an email to contact the company. I did it (international call) and they told me there was no room for guided tour. However, I have been charged for the guided tour, which is about the double price, even that I clearly advise them to handle the situation properly. Now, trying to get my money back.

Great scenery and staff

I love to get off the strip at least one day during a Vegas trip. The Red Rock Canyon is beautiful. Found this bike tour and sounded like fun. They pick you up, then set up your bike, which has electric motors which give you an extra push. We signed up for the unguided tour and listened to directions and had map. You do pay a $5 park entrance fee- separate from rental fee. Note: the 13 mile loop is one way it took us about 1 hour and that included stopping to take photos and potty breaks they do have 3, one at entrance and 2 more off the loop. Once back at the bike shop, they have coffee and water, coffee was great because it was cold in January. We consider ourselves average bike riders, the whole trip is about 30 miles. Again with the electric motor it helps to push you along. The staff gave good advice and we would do it again.

We took the electric bike tour of...

We took the electric bike tour of Red Rock Canyon on March 30. The wind was gusting at 40 miles per hour and we only saw one other person out there on a bike. It was a little scary but fun and interesting. Irving was our guide -delightful young man who didn't mind our whining and let us decide how much we wanted to push ourselves. We saw Blue Diamond, a quaint but real town and Bonnie Springs ranch, a pretend frontier town, sweet but a little sad. The scenery was beautiful and Irving pointed out birds and rock formations and shared some history of the area. It was a great ride and break from the strip. Honestly though, we are most excited to tell friends how two 60 year olds fought the wind and won impossible without electric power behind us!. Thanks Irving!
