We will pick you up just over an hour before our scheduled launch time directly from your hotel. We will launch at 12:00 noon Mountain time (11am Las Vegas time) Pick up from all Las Vegas strip hotels starting around 9:30am. We are the only ones who offer Round trip free courtesy shuttle pick up and drop off from any strip hotel you are staying. Our drivers have flawless driving records and our Vans are all clean new modeled comfortable 12 and 15 passenger vehicles.

Returns to original departure point
  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • We have the right to cancel a booking if there are not enough travelers
  • Please be advised we pick up from Las Vegas about an hour before the departure time
  • Most days our tours fill up but in the event we don’t have enough travelers to fill the minimum numbers your day we will offer another date or refund you 100 percent of your money.

Great Experience for Beginner Kayaker

As a first time kayaker, Kylee made this trip seem easy and enjoyable. Very informative on our ride through Boulder City on the way to the marina. She was great at providing instruction at the beginning and letting you go at your own pace. The river current was very light, making it a relaxing kayak and we were able to enjoy the sites and beach stops along the way without stressing. The cave is an inlet in the rock wall but the emerald green water color is spectacular. The water is cold and we loved the opportunity to take a few dips! Note the entire trip from LV and back takes about 5hrs. River DogZ also worked with us on scheduling due to unforeseen events while we were in the area. Had a blast and next time will opt for the full day kayak with Kylee!

Wow! What an experience! We had a great time kayaking the Colorado River with Michelle. She was friendly, upbeat and knowledgable! The pickup was a smooth process from the Luxor and to the launch site (about 50 minutes) which included commentary from our guide about the local population, its evolution and the geographical sites. The kayaking itself was incredible - the views of the canyon were priceless! The breeze on the water was a great relief from the hot desert sun, and thankfully bottled water was provided by our guide along with tasty snacks. I would highly recommend this excursion for a group, couple or family! What an adventure!

We had an absolute blast on this Kayak trip. The tour staff lead by Taylor were very patient with a 60 yr old couple me a has been athlete and my better half a former triathalete who had never Kayaked before Our guide Taylor made this trip a very memorable one. I highly highly recommend RiverDogz!!
