Peruvian Cooking Class Including Local Market Tour and Exotic Fruit Tasting

Absolutely amazing! Chef and Assistant Aura took us for an extraordinary journey. Went to the market, learned about the different fruits, then having the tasting was really good! This was an AWESOME tour and cooking class. We had so much fun! The markets are some of my favorite places. Everyone was so nice, great energy, and we learned a lot. Then the cooking class was a blast. Felipe, Aura, Sebastian, and Tony everyone was fantastic. I did this tour with my Grandma and we cannot walk very far and they accomodated us and took such good care of us. Did I mention the food was fantastic? Cannot wait to make it at home!

Aura was a great host. She explained everything about the market - the different fruits and vegetables and how they are used in Peru and many of the Peruvian customs. Nindy is a great chef. Both Aura and Nindy have a great sense of humor and made this a very enjoyable experience for my two sons and me.

I'm from US, on my first trip to Peru, traveling solo ... first stop - Lima! And my first tour was with this group, lead by Aura and David. What a great time - I highly recommend this tour. First - Aura contacted me several times to ensure I was aware of timing, logistics, etc They arranged to pick me up at my hotel, which was very convenient. Second - I lucked out and joined up with 2 young(er) Russian couples who made the experience a good time! Third - we walked through the local market, and it was amazing to see the fresh fruits, the fish, other foods ... I could have spent hours, but Aura got us in and out in a reasonable time. Fourth - we then proceeded to their kitchen, somewhere in Mia Flores (they drove, I lost track) where we all worked as a team to prepare fruit, and prepare ingredients for ceviche. Fifth - our group also wanted to learn how to make (and drink) Pisco sours - yum!! Finally - we got to sit and enjoy all that we had bought or prepared, and it was delicious!! I only have one complaint - the time was too short!! Or so it felt to me. Sign up for this tour - and enjoy!!

Awesome your. We loved being able to visit the local market and learn about local cuisine and culture. The chef was great and we learned some new techniques and the food was delicious. We did the morning time slot and it was a great way to start our day.

AMAZING! Really worth your time to learn about the foods and culture at the market, and learn to cook some Peruvian food! Really lovely guides and chefs. Definitely book this experience ASAP!
