Shore Excursion to Florence from Livorno

Very efficient way to get from port to Florence. Very easy to find the bus for the transfer to and from the city

Well organized. Tour operator sent information as soon as the tour was booked. Easy to get ship shuttle to pick up point, where guides met us and helped us to buses. Our guide was Apollonia very informative. Drop off near the station in Florence, pick up at same place. Well done.

This is a perfect way to go into Florence and very affordable. The ship we were on offered the exact transportation for 3x the price. Shame on them. The bus was very comfortable going and coming. Just wish we would have had more time in Florence.

While the transfer was fine, it really was not nearly enough time to enjoy Florence. There is so much to see. We needed to be back at our cruise ship by 8:00 pm and they had us leave Florence by 4:00 pm.

Bus pick up in Livorno was right on time. Tour guide got on about half way to Florence and passed out maps of Florence. Which was a good thing, because we could not understand what she said.

Prior to sale of this transfer on line and even after you purchase it, you are not appropriately apprised of the fact that you need to get to the city centre to catch the bus. It is described as near,,,yes near after you catch a 5€ bus from the port to the city centre. Only one person at the port was finally able to tell us where we needed to be. For people trying to do Florence from a cruise ship, you need a transfer that comes to the port. Not this. We missed the bus as a result of our boat being delayed followed by long line ups for the city run transfer bus from the port to the city centre where this transfer starts from.

Bus on time, exactly where they said they would be, lots of friendly staff in green shirts directing folks as to which bus to take. Would use again. Plus they dropped us back at boat rather than shuttle stop. Saved half hour.

Bus trip was good...an easy way to get to Florence from Livorno. The group was very organized. The time in Florence was a little short, but they needed to allow plenty of time to get back, so understood.

Comfortable air-conditioned bus on time just enough time in Florence to enjoy the city. BUT we almost missed it entirely as it was not clear that we had to take a shuttle bus from where the cruise ship was docked, through the port area, to the centre of Livorno about a 10 minute drive. We arrived early and waited at one of the 4 bus areas in the port and realized 20 minutes later that we might be in the wrong place. Once we figured it out and took the bus to Livorno, we couldnt find either stop n.1 City Sightseeing Livorno as instructed in the booking information or Patrizio our supposed contact on the voucher. We asked the operator from Tuscany Bus if she knew anything about our Viator transfer, and only then did we discover that the Tuscany Bus was indeed our transfer. The actual transfer was comfortable, some useful information was provided by the tour guide, and the price was excellent. We would certainly recommend this transfer.

Can't fault it to be fair. Nice large coach that departs from where you are dropped off in the main square. Look for staff wearing green tops.
