After pickup at your Florence hotel in the morning, travel through the gorgeous countryside characterized by vineyards, rolling hills and olive groves to arrive at the medieval city of Siena. Explore highlights of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed city center, including museums, the cathedral, and the Piazza del Campo, home to the famous Palio horse race.
Continue on to the walled hilltop village of Monteriggioni, a small gem of a town with a rich history. Take in wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and learn how Monteriggioni served as an important defensive fortification during conflicts between Siena and Florence during the Middle Ages.
Also boasting spectacular views from its hilltop location is the UNESCO-listed town of San Gimignano, also known as the ‘Town of Fine Towers.’ Admire well-preserved examples of Gothic and Romanesque architecture and the dozen or so surviving towers that make for a captivating skyline. Finally, venture into the world-famous wine region of Chianti to the small Etruscan town of Castellina, home to an impressive 15th-century fortress.

Itinerary
The Val d’Orcia Park of Art, Nature and Culture is listed amongst UNESCO sites as a cultural landscape. This recognition was awarded in 2004 by the World Heritage Committee for the excellent conservation of the landscape – thanks to intelligent intervention by man – and for the inspiration it gave to Renaissance artists.

On the way included a very good Wine Tasting in a exclusive Castle winery located in a panoramic position on the Tuscany sweet rolling hills!
Brolio Castle has been property of the Ricasoli family since 1141. It is one of the oldest companies in the world, among the first Italian winemakers, and has been owned by the same family for 32 generations.
From the Castle entrance, you will be taken through the gardens, private family church and Ricasoli Collection (small museum) by one of expert guides. After the historical visit, you will then drive down to the wine shop where the tour continues through our state-of-the-art wine-making facilities. The tour ends in a private room with a guided wine tasting of 3 wines.

The historic center of Siena has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. Siena is famous for its cuisine, art, museums, medieval cityscape and the Palio, a horse race held twice a year. By walking around the town you’ll be able to enjoy the main attractions from the outside.
