The cruise was a great overall...

The cruise was a great overall value. Our guide was enthusiastic to show us the sites and conveniently pop by a few tourist traps on the way, but no matter. A cruise truly is the best way to see the sights of Upper Egypt at a lovely 5 day pace. I'm not sure how much more beneficial a seven day trip would have been... The crew on board were extremely friendly and provided good service. Schedules were sometimes arbitrary, it seemed, and the food was only OK. But this is about spending time off the boat, not on! Guides and prearranged itineraries were excellent, we had amazing experiences with wonderful insights by the guide. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and nothing about the tour disappointed. Highly recommended for others considering, though if price is not a consideration I am sure there are more luxurious options.
