Delicious bush Tucker lunch and a delightful paddle down the river. Would have appreciated a bit more aboriginal history.

A must do tour of Margaret River

It was amazing. The river was picture perfect. Perry our guide had us relaxed, which set the mood. We were able to absorb the calmness of the river as we made our way along. Perry gave us the history of the area. After a quick swim in the river we had lunch. It was the best example of a native lunch that we had and I have done a few. Thankyou Bushtucker tours

Brilliantly run, very entertaining and something a bit different!

Tony and G-Man were brilliant hosts for our half day canoe tour. There were quite a few kids in our group and Tony was superb at making sure they all understood the safety aspects while making sure everyone had a great time. The canoeing itself was great fun and we learned plenty about the area and wildlife on our way, while stopping for a swim and trying some surprisingly tasty ‘bush tucker’. Lunch was nice and would suit most tastes and diets - some lovely bread with great mix of meats and chutneys. Thanks for a cracking tour. Brilliantly run, very entertaining and something a bit different!

We had a brilliant morning with Tony and G-man learning about bush trucker and info about the Margaret River region. Getting the hang of canoeing was harder than we thought but once G-man was given the controls we were fine. The lunch included crocodile, kangaroo, emu, chicken, and cheese for the veggies, served with pesto, chutneys and delicious bread as well as various unusual real bush trucker grub. Would highly recommend to everyone whatever your age or fitness. We all managed and our average age was 60 and none of us are what you’d call fit!

Tony our tour guide is a very knowledgeable and enjoyable guy! He gave us a bit of everything: explanations on the Margaret River Environment, training on canoeing, invited us to jump off the rocks (that was the cherry on the cake!) and not the least the food was excellent! Hope to be back!

I really liked this tour. It is different from the regular wine tours and you get to hear a bit of history and try some new things on this tour. Everything didn't go right for u s mainly in the rowing department but we overcame and made it up the river. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife and hearing about the aboriginals. My family enjoyed walking up the Cliffside to get the whole view of the river and landscape. Then we enjoyed a very interesting lunch did bring snacks for our kids just in case but I enjoyed trying the many different items that I wouldn't have tried if they were not described and offered to me like this trip did. I got to try out crocodile, kangaroo and emu meat. While I didn't like kangaroo or emu but I really did enjoy the crocodile meat, plus the homemade pestos and jams. The cave tour was interesting its short but I am glad it was since I am not a cave person but I did the crawl through and army crawl through some parts of the cave so it was an adventure. Our Guide was great and very informative.
