So much fun!

David was so accommodating & informative in showing our group around. We had kids from 3-12 years old & their favorite part was making salsa & tortillas. We also had a couple in the group who couldn’t walk long distances but were able to manage fine.

Louis did a very good job, explained everything and took good care of us over the tour, answered all our questions and made sure we enjoy the trip, what I did :-) I liked the small group, just 6 people, perfect for me

Long day with mixed results

Tour was much longer than advertised. Agave factory was great but the leather factory was a disappointment. Would have liked more information about the area (culture, flora, fauna, etc.) while we were transiting from location to location. We arrived too late to visit the bakery. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

We loved this tour, it was the best part of our trip to Mazatlan! Our guide, David, was so knowledgeable and has great rapport with all the people we saw. At every place we stopped, we were treated amazingly and it’s obvious David is loved by all. One of the highlights was visiting Alberto who makes amazing pottery by hand, we even got some mangoes! We’re already planning to bring friends next time and do this tour all over again!!!

Hello!!! I got some mangos on my next 3 tours after that one also. It is great to hear that you enjoy all the places that we visit on the tour, because that is what it is all about, getting to meet the people that use their hands to make art. Thank you very much, and if you come again with friends, we will make it even better.. Cheers!!

Great experience with Luis!

I would give this tour 10 Stars, if I could, because of our Fantastic Tour Guide Luis. Being a lifelong Mazatlan resident, he was very knowledgeable about the history of Mazatlan & area, & was very kind & accommodating, & made sure that everyone got to do what they were interested in. My husband had told Luis that he was having a hard time finding a famous Mango Liqueur, & Luis took us to the Distillery at the end of our tour. Now that’s a great Tour Guide, & a great Amigo!

Artisans Town Distilled Factory, Tortilla tour

I’m so glad we chose this tour! Our tour guide was David and he was such a great guide! We visited two small villages, both beautiful clean towns! In the first one we visited a leather artist. He made beautiful wall art, shoes, belts and more. He still used heavy duty machines that were decades old. In the same building was a jewelry artist and my husband bought me 2 beautiful pieces. We walked through the village, saw a beautiful church and lovely little colorful houses. From there we visited a Agave distillery, seeing the machines used years ago and the more modern equipment used today. It was an interesting process. Then on to another small town with a popular Mexican restaurant. There we were taught how to make salsa with a mortar and pestle. It was so much fun we ordered our own mortar/pestle set to teach our kids. Also made tortillas, learning great tips. During the trip, we visited a cemetery and learned about the Day of the Dead celebration and what it means. David was full of interesting information about everything in the area. We will definitely take more tours with this company! Can’t wait for the next adventure!
