A tour to remember.

It was a splendid tour and more so because I paid for a guided tour which was an excellent decision taken by me. I learnt a lot about the historical significance of the shrine and many many stories linked to it which would have been unknown to me had I not taken a guide.

When our guide showed and shared her father and his past. Our guide was very informative, friendly and spoke with compassion

Excellent tour with Karl, who was easy to understand and knew his subject well. Brought the Shrine to life for those on our tour and we came away knowing much more of our history. Highly recommend.
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH VIATOR!!! Book through the shrine's page

I booked an accessible tour of the shrine as one of our party is in a wheelchair and an other an elderly gent with mobility issues. Upon arrival I found we could have bought concession tickets more cheaply, and used a companion card (free). NONE OF THIS WAS OFFERED ON VIATOR. Even worse, the lovely staff at the shrine told us they don't have an accessible tour and VIATOR shouldn't be selling such tours! Fortunately the staff there were just amazing and customised our tour, which included other people, to accommodate our needs. The Shrine staff can't be faulted, but but VIATOR sucks big time
