Return Details

Returns to original departure point
This walking food tour begins in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. After a meet and greet with the guide, it’s time for a flavorful and fun adventure.

Visit family-owned and operated Cuban restaurants to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. The Calle Ocho area of Little Havana provides an overview of the neighborhood’s traditional flavors—favorites like homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito, plus coffee, guarapo juice and much more. Many of the Cuban dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been handed down from one generation to another. All tastings are included and sum up to a large, full lunch.

This tour includes more than just food, however. Meet some of the Cuban artists in their studios, listen to some traditional Cuban music and watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers at Havana Classic Cigar. Also, visit Maximo Gomez Domino Park, a landmark on Calle Ocho.

The tour concludes back at the original departure point.

Our tour guide, Gina, did a beautiful job giving us lots of information on the tour. She even went out of her way to make sure everyone got the food preferences they needed. We had a blast!!! Going back to Little Havana today. The Cuban food on Ocean Boulevard doesn't even compare!!!

Best thing I did in Miami so far :)

Easily the best thing we have done so far. You walk around little havana hearing about culture, a bit of history, and food / food habits, and you taste the food. There is no long walk moment, we actually just walked around 3 if the 5 blocks of little havana, with many pauses, so its child friendly. Super well organized, everything is ready when you arrive in a new place where you eat something. They don't go cheap, you have more than enough food for a lunch, and more than enough to drink as well :) our guide was amazing (Ralph) and very untertaining and knowledgeable- not one boring moment!

The cane juice hit the spot.

I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the history of Cubans in Florida. All the "tastes" were delicious, but my favorite was the fresh pressed cane juice... An excellent refresher on a 90 degree day. There were lots of photo-op locations too. A good way to find out where to visit in Little Havana if you are new to Miami.
