    A full day out; Lake Como, the scenic train into Switzerland and the return through the Maloja Pass, just as scenic. Our guide for the day, Julia, was outstanding and had planned a couple of surprise stops including the Nero vineyard for a wine tasting.

    Having seen many companies all offering slightly different experiences for the Bernina train journey, I was extremely happy to have booked our trip with Luca. We were met in Varenna by Giulia, who was a fantastic guide for our day, and organised a few small stop offs for us on the way to the train - from the wine tasting and private car journey up to Tirano, to the amazing train journey and stop off in St Moritz, I could not have asked for a more perfect day!     This all day tour was a main highlight of our trip to Italy! We got to explore and see so many BEAUTIFUL areas we otherwise would not have. Luca is an amazing guide. Excellent communication prior to the tour, which was critical with all of the fast changing covid travel rules. Luca was on top of it and made sure we were prepared and he made it so easy. Luca was so knowledgeable about the regions we toured, he made the day so fun, and picked up very quickly on our interests and catered the day to them. He had some surprise stops along the way that we were not expecting, which added to our excitement and enjoyment. He made sure to give great recommendations on what to see or what food to try during our free times to explore. The pizzoccheri from the Valtellina valley was amazing! This tour exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to anyone! And Luca was the best! We enjoyed our day with him on this tour very much.

    Luca gave us a wonderful, very personal tour of a region that he obviously knows well and loves. His knowledge, flexibility and sense of humor made this very long day fly by. Despite a 4-week stay in Italy, with a number of tours, seeing many special sites, museums and beautiful towns, this was a highlight. Highly recommend!

    What a wonderful trip. Our guide Giovanni made sure we had a great experience and Luca was in constant communication before and after the tour. What I like the most is that Giovanni checked on our interests before starting the tour so we actually saw a couple of additional places since we decided to do a quick lunch. Our guide also provided great information about each place visited. I really recommend this tour and can't wait to book a different tour with then once I get back to Italy.

    Very nice trip to the Bernina train done from the Italian side. We stayed in Como and started the tour there. Luca is an experienced tour guide and took great care of us. The tour is quite flexible and it is possible to change elements. F.e, we already saw Varenna and so we went to the other side of lake Como. The trip with the train is of course the highlight of tge tour. I never had such a spectacular train ride in my life.

    Our guide Giovanni was really helpful and friendly. My parents had nothing but praises for him. He was attentive to our needs and interests — even bringing me to get dried pizzoccheri pasta after lunch because I wanted to. My family is convinced to come back to lake como again someday because of his hospitality. thank you for the wonderful experience!
