This activity will end right where it started.
Meet your guide in central Moab to start the first portion of your combo adventure, a 4-hour tour of Canyonlands National Park by 4WD. Hop into the vehicle for a thrilling morning drive over rugged terrain to the Island in the Sky. From here, your guide traverses switchbacks to White Rim Road, a 100-mile (160-km) loop situated roughly 1,000 feet (300 meters) below the mesa and the same distance above the Colorado and Green rivers.

Your guide follows a section of the White Rim Road where you're treated to a panoramic vista of Fossil Point before connecting to the Shafer Trail. Listen as your guide shares the human and natural history of Canyonlands, and stop for photo ops of ancient rock art en route to the mesa summit before refueling with a riverside buffet lunch.

Next, you'll descend the canyon to ride the white-water rapids of the Colorado River, including the Fisher Towers area that features soaring canyon walls, giant rock spires and plenty of wildlife. This 4-hour portion of your adventure begins with a safety briefing. Once you're outfitted with a life jacket, climb into an awaiting raft with a river guide who expertly navigates your raft over Class II and III rapids.

Rest assured that sections of calm water follow, where you can relax, take photos (waterproof bag provided) or even swim if temperatures allow. After a fun-filled day off-roading and rafting in this spectacular wilderness, you are returned to Moab where your tour ends.

4x4 your was great! Guide took us all over the canyon. Rafting was very “tame” had hoped for a little more rapids.

While both the rafting and the 4x4 were great, our guide through Canyonlands on the off-road trip had amazing knowledge to share with us.
Don’t do it!!
, Jun 2022
We booked an ATV tour but we rode in a vehicle. The tour guide was amazing best part of the trip. We were told lunch would be at noon. It was almost one before we had lunch. We didn’t have anywhere to sit and eat lunch. There was several other companies occupying the same pavilion. Again the guide was amazing. The process was not. No organization at all.
Great and not so great.

Our guide for the canyon lands trip was excellent. Very informative and knew his stuff about geology and rocks. Our river guide was a little slow and not very knowledgeable about how to float the raft down the river. We were sideways most of the trip which slowed us down a lot. Then we spent 3/4 of the trip paddling to stay close to the other raft. The other raft hardly paddling at all.
Overall a fun day

Book directly with Navtec
, May 2022
Navtec is the tour company that provides this combo tour. It was a great tour as the guides were confident in what they were doing and we saw some spectacular views. I would not book with Viator as they did not communicate with Navtec as our date had changed from our original booking. Navtec was able to accommodate us at the last minute. So no need to book third party. Book directly with Navtec.

Cayonlands and guide was very good. Rafting and lunch was less than average. Lunch was prepared at the river in less than suitable utinsels. The description of the rafting should indicate to wear water shoes. I assumed some water splash but not stepping into foot deep water. Boring trip.

Charlotte’s 4 x 4 tour of canyonlands was excellent she’s very professional a good communicator and just fun to be around. Austin did the rafting trip and even though his first first day, he is truly a pro. My only complaint is that they put 10 people in the boat with Austin and that was too many

Absolutely amazing experience! From arrival to departure, we were lead on an adventure by super skilled tour guides. The ATV ride through Canyonlands was really cool, allowing us to get up close and personal to the canyons vs just seeing them from the overlooks. And the river was a great pairing, cooking us off and allowing us to see a different side of Utah’s southeast. The views were 360°, 100% of the time. Thanks for the tour!
Great Day

A definite must
, Dec 2020
We were so happy we scheduled this tour and would recommend it to everyone going to Canyonlands -Moab area. The sites were breathing taking and we ventured on some narrow roads! Our guide was Charlotte and she is a fountain of knowledge about the topography. We saw Petroglyphs, viewed rivers from high up and much more. The Colorado river rafting was quite as exciting because their hadn't been much rain lately, but if you can go in with an open mind of river conditions it was great. Our guide made us a delicious lunch of chicken ceasar wraps, fruit cups cookies. Plenty to eat. While we only hit a couple of class 1 rapids the view from this angle was quite interesting. Was still worth it in our book. I would recommend both!

Exciting tours on road & river
, Oct 2020
Don, our Canyonlands driver and guide was excellent. With 50 years experience as a local and living legend, he had thorough knowledge of the area, culture, history and terrain. He entertained us with many personal anecdotes. Tyler, our river guide was excellent, too..

A Fun Day!
, Oct 2020
Myself and a friend part took in the day! We had a great time. The previous reviews noting a more "quiet" rafting ride were accurate. This area of the Colorado river was not very "active" during our visit. However, the guides still made sure the rafting guests had a nice time and were entertained and having fun during their trip. The 4x4 tour allowed you to access areas of Canyonlands with are truly only accessible with a off-road vehicle. Something which I was not willing to take my rental car out-for-a-spin for to figure out if it was truly off-road capable or not. I was very glad I booked this trip! It was a nice and relaxing day to break up a full weeks worth of hiking. If you prefer something more relaxing to spend more time conversing with family or friends, or having a drink on a slower pace rafting trip, this could be a great trip for you.

Morning 4 x 4 & afternoon rafting
, Oct 2020
Highly recommend this tour. Blane drove our 4x4 & he was excellent with a great personality! Then lunch next to Colorado River, simple but good. Raft ride was beautiful & calm with a few rapids.
Not a favorite
, Oct 2020
the person we had as a driver that was rude and found it funny that we were afraid of heights and continually made the turns more dangerous than needed. We were in a Suburban vehicle not what we thought based on the photos. If heights are an issue don't go. The river ride with Travis was nice but just a stroll down the river certainly no rapids. When making the food for lunch he didn't wear a mask during Covid so two of us did not eat. The boat had 11 in it and you sat on the edges of the raft. Would not recommend this. Sorry this is the first bad review I ever wrote but Mike made the trip miserable
Excellent Tour
, Oct 2020
The guides for both the Jeep tour and the rafting did an excellent job. They were very engaging with clients and made the tour very worth while.
