The coach we travelled with was comfortable. Our guide was super friendly and helpful. The trip itself was definitely worth it, both castles are beautiful.

Excellent tour - very efficient organisation of everything. The tour guide was very responsive and provided very detailed background information about the tour. One suggestion could be that, the actual castle tour was expected to finish at 4:55, it left quite limited time for us to visit the castle shops on the way back to the coach which would depart at 5:30PM.

I enjoyed visiting the Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castle. Our guide Christine was knowledgeable and helpful. A reminder to bring euro's cash for paying for the entry tickets and if you want to take the bus up for Neuschwanstein. Neuschwanstein had multiple stands you could buy bratworst or hot dogs for a reasonable price as well as some gelato places.

I wanted to come here for years, so I really enjoyed having a tour to learn about the history of the castle. A friend recommended I see the Palace as well as the castle, which is why I picked this trip. Great information by our guide Christine, very informative and helpful.

Kristine and Neuschwanstein, a great combo.

Kristine was a wonderful guide and knew her history and facts about Ludwig II and history of his family. She was quite organized and knew where to go, when to be where-kept us on schedule so we weren’t wasting time. It was a long, but fulfilling day.

Lovely Bus Trip

This was a very nice bus ride out to the castles. The host Monica did a wonderful job as a tour guide in the bus for everything we drove by. It's a little longer than you expected - though right at the time they said it would be.

It's fast, but it's worth it. You must be attentive to the timetable. The place is fantastic, the tour guide is very sympathetic.

Great trip and good price - MUCH easier than trying to figure out public transportation from Munich. Tour guide was informative and interesting, and driver was competent and the bus was comfortable (and air conditioned! 🙌). My kids aged 11 and 14 enjoyed it and we would definitely recommend the experience.

Loved it! (Bring cash and an N95 mask!)

Ohhhh my gosh we LOVED this tour! The castles are absolutely gorgeous! It was also super nice to be driven by bus and have the tickets already reserved. We debated just taking the train and doing it ourselves but we are SO glad we went with the tour instead. We got a lot more historical background, we didn’t have to stress about the different transportation getting there and our tickets were already reserved. I felt SO bad for the people showing up to Neuschwabstein Castle to find out it was all sold out (it sells out quick!). The only only downside is having to bring cash. I think the original details of the trip say to bring cast but purchasing the tour through Viator doesn’t include the tickets inside of the castle. Each person needs to pay an additional $28 cash per person to cover their tickets. A lot of people didn’t realize it and had to run to an ATM to get cash. It would be so much better to just pre-pay it and add that into the tour price (instead of $60 plus bring cash for tickets, just charge $88 and have the tickets included). Other than that it was great! **Don’t forget to bring cash and a N95 mask!! They won’t let you in the castles without an N95 mask**

Excellent tour! But beware the morning meeting spot

We had a wonderful guide named Francesca (not sure I’m spelling her name correct). She did an excellent job telling us stories along the way, arranging tickets, giving us tips. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The only small frustration was trying to locate the morning meeting place. The train station Karlsplatz has many exits and they are labeled A-M. We tried exit F and fortunately ended up across the street from the meeting point. I heard another person could not locate the meeting point and missed our tour. It would help future tourists to know which exit to use.

Very well organised, Franziska was very knowledgeable and informative. I had done the tour 10 years ago, but still found the day interesting and was happy that I had recommended it to the others with whom I was travelling.

The tour was great ,some recommendations .. have cash to pay for the castle tickets .. the tour guide do not take cards . The bus doesn’t go upstairs you need to pay either 3 per person in their bus or 7.50 in the horse ride (cash also) no more buses after 5:30 or horse ride .. you have to walk down by feet !!!! None of this was clear when we bought the tickets .. food also there is not great at all .. take you own snacks if you can …
