The tour was a great time. We took the Angel tour and would suggest that to anyone. Not only did we learn so much about JD but we also got to try some samples that we would probably never try elsewhere. Also, I learned that I like Rye JD! Never thought I would like it. Make sure to take the tour and have a great time!

4 of us were early and called the company when the bus didn't show at expected time. They told us we were late and not at the right spot so they left us!. We were to be there at 8:50 to board leaving at 9am. We called at 8:51 and that was their excuse to leave us.. we called them one minute late. That us what they said!!! They knew we were there and trying to find them! Didnt matter. Note: there are 2 entrances to the restaurant that we were to meet infront of. WE didn't know we were at the wrong one. BUT u live in Nashville and should have known that. Also, the bus and the station were not identifiable!! Nothing on the bus or a sign out front to know what we were looking for. No, refund. They told us we could either reschedule or find our own ride (Lyft or Uber) AT OUR COST to meet up with them. How to fix this: #1 Know your pick up points for more than 1 entrance (how do u NOT know this?!?!) #2 mark that place with a sign!!! #3 mark your fricking vehicle!! ( are WE supposed to flag down every bus or van to see if that is you?!?!) #4 do not make every attempt to call your customers liers and take their money Note: take the LYFT or UBER its worth your time and its cheaper! And your are nit rushed back to the bus when you wanna shop downtown Lynchburg. JACK DANIELS DISTILLERY ITSELF IS AMAZING...JUST DRIVE YOURSELF. ITS A DRY COUNTY, YOU CANT DRINK MORE THAN THE WHISKEY TASKINGS ANYWAY. ;)

As someone who has worked hard to grow a fun and successful business I don't take lightly someone wrongly and falsely denigrating my business. I'm alway open to constructive criticism, but this is just flat out BS and you know it. You missed the bus-plain and simple. Don't blame us for your mistake. And we did accommodate you. We could have been done with this at that point. We didn't have to let you ride back with us, but we did. I didn't personally have to coordinate this on a Sunday morning that I should be spending the time with my family, but I did because it was the right thing to do. And now we're paying the price even though we did the right thing. You were not at the designated pickup spot at 250 5th Ave South at Bob's Steakhouse where we have been picking up for five years. You admitted you were on 4th Ave South. You saw a sign that said Bob's Steakhouse in downtown Nashville and assumed that an advertisement was it. You were not at the designated location. Google it-it'll take you right to the spot where we were sitting for no less than 25 minutes. I'd be happy to take a photo of it. 17 other people made the bus that morning. They followed directions, they were proactive, they were kind. Also, I'd be happy to share the call log of phone calls with you. You called at 9:21. An entire 21 minutes after the tour started. The bus was well on the way. There is no bus station. It is a wide, accessible convenient public street. Our high-end Volvo coach bus is certainly identifiable considering it was the only one out there, it is about 50 feet long, and two gentlemen wearing Tennessee Whiskey Tours shirts were walking around talking to folks and checking them in. No you do not need to flag us down; you would know exactly who we are if you were at the right location. If anything, consider changing your review to a five stars and praising us for going above and beyond to accommodate you when we didn't have to. Don't be quick to blame others for no fault of their own. Maybe consider spreading a little kindness and love right now-the world needs it. Cheers, Chip

Must-Do Excursion for Whiskey Lovers

The location was easy to find and our driver knew the best spots to point us to for eating and purchasing our souvenirs. Our group was small and the bus was large enough to maintain social distancing. Having paperwork to fill out for the distillery before walking in to make the initial check-in faster was a huge plus. I wish we had at least another half hour in Lynchburg to be able to eat and visit more than one store- but overall you have 3 hours to complete your Angel's Share tour and shop in the town square (which is really all there is to do in the immediate area). This option was perfect for a couples getaway vacation in which we were able to visit Lynchburg and have a date night in Nashville the same day.

It was very easy to find the bus and Frank was nice enough to wait a few extra minutes to make sure everyone was there! He was a great driver and had great jokes. The actual tour was very educational and interesting! All of the tour guides were fantastic and easy to get along with

Great tour but unfortunately due to Covid we were unable to see all of the normal areas included in the tour. Not their fault but was disappointing since we did not know that before going.

Was wonderful. Bus met us right outside the Omni hotel. Grabbed coffee and hit the road on time. Tour was very nice. More outdoors than I expected but it’s a beautiful campus with an interesting history. The taste testing at the end was great and we kept our whiskey glasses. Then did a quick BBQ lunch in Lynchburg before heading home. Have already recommended it to friends!

Nice tour, poor response from tour provider

I have mixed reviews about this tour... on my own experience, I would rate it a 5. The driver was personable and great, the tour was nice, the tasting was fun. But my parents were also with me, and for them I have to rate this tour lower. They could not participate in the distillery tour for mobility issues and, although the distillery was willing to provide a refund for their tickets ($60 total), the tour provider did not do so. I reached out to the tour provider the next day, and he said he would check into it but I have not heard back or received a partial refund.
