Close encounters with aligators and interesting conversation with boat captain. The plantation tours were fantastic, with a supper meal at the last plantation(Humas House). Would recommend this to all my friends.

Rene was an excellent guide. The swamp boat adventure was okay, but the tours of both the Laura Plantation and Houmas House were both excellent. The buffet lunch was also wonderful. Rene’s knowledge of the area is extensive.

Fun Full Day Adventure
Stephanie_V

We loved this tour! We were in New Orleans for a week and it was so nice to have a day where we didn’t have to plan time schedules, we just went along for the ride! Our tour guide, Ellen, was super fun and shared a ton of history, stories and restaurant tips with us. The airboat ride and tour guide was a highlight of our whole trip and made us want to buy an airboat of our own...until we heard the price! The two plantations were so different, we definitely didn’t feel like we were on the same tour, hearing the same stories. The Laura Plantation was great and we had a fantastic guide. The Houmas House was beautiful, the grounds were lovely and the lunch was delicious! I highly recommend this tour for a fun and educational adventure that you won’t soon forget!

Great day!!!

Amazing tour! Our guide, Rene, was on time, organized, informative & fun!!! Is driving was safe & I felt well taken care of. It rained the day of our trip, but Rene was prepared with heavy duty ponchos & the trip was still a great success in spite of the inclement weather. My favorite parts: seeing alligators in their natural habitat ( who knew they liked marshmallows!!), the history of the Laura plantation, the yummy lunch and gorgeous gardens at Houmas House & getting to see a different side of Louisiana history outside of NOLA. I highly recommend this your & company. Well worth it!!
