Erin was an excellent tour guide; Both architecturally and Historically knowledgeable. She was engaging with the large group; her Personality and comedic timing combined with her knowledge to make her quite an excellent tour guide. She monitored our group safety warning us about New Orleans sidewalks and group safety as well. I would highly recommend her if you want to enjoy a tour and also get excellent information about New Orleans.

We saw John Goodman walking his dog!

Lee was our tour guide. He brought humor, knowledge, and his pretty southern drawl to this tour. What’s not to love? … It was a million degrees that day, so Lee was mindful to stand the group in the shade whenever possible during stops. The tour was a mix of celebrity houses (Sandra Bullock, Mr. Goodman, also homes once occupied by Anne Rice, Mark Twain, Trent Reznor) and Lee incorporated many lessons in architecture with historic context to bring it to life. At one point we passed John Goodman walking his dog (!) Lee was so cute keeping his composure and demonstrating to the group how to be calm in the presence of majorly famous New Orleanian. What a professional! A perfect tour. A perfect guide. No complaints, just a lot of fun and a thoroughly interesting time.

Most memorable is Erin! She is fantastic, very knowledgeable, friendly & made the experience a pleasure. I wish the city would fix the streets, that was very difficult for her to have to work around.

Erin was a great teacher, funny stories, bits of information about families and an expert on architecture! She even sent us emails of house styles so we could see the differences. You will love the tour and Erin’s devotion to her hometown and sharing wonderful stories. You won’t be disappointed!!!
