Food and drinks
Start your visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum with a self-guided tour of the exhibitions and multimedia displays. The museum itself is located below the 9/11 Memorial, the reflecting pools that are the footprints of the Twin Towers that fell due to the devastating terrorist attack in 2001.

With your timed admission, you have guaranteed entry to stay for as long as you want. It is suggested that you take at least two hours to wander the museum. This admission saves you time by giving you direct entry into the center with your mobile device.

The museum also includes a pair of main exhibits: a memorial exhibition called In Memoriam, in honor of the people who lost their lives that day in 2001 as well as the people who were killed during the World Trade Center 1993 bombing. The second exhibition is September 11, 2001, a three-part exhibition that tells the tale of the day and analyzes motives for the attacks. It also shows the aftereffects of the attack and how the event changed the world, both locally and globally.

This museum experience brings out the emotions in the guests who visit. Get ready to hear the stories of loss and sadness, of compassion and recovery, as you explore the space.

For me, remembering where I was when the Twin Towers were attacked was Nostalgic. It’s a miracle that any lives survived. We need to grow spiritually and empathetically to strive for a better country

Very impressive museum, but too crowded.

A very impressive museum, with the history of 9/11, but also very moving personal stories. Luckily I had already visited the museum before, because this time it was very crowded, too many people at the same time in the museum. There should be a maximum number of visitors per time slot.

Very emotional and heart wrenching experience. Brought my wife and I back to that horrible day, but a wonderful museum and memorial! Great for our 13 year old to experience as well!

A stark reminder of the terrible tragedy that was 9/11. Tastefully done, the exhibits lead you through the events of that terrible day as they unfolded. The understated, yet beautiful footprints where the towers once stood are so fitting!

We were at ground zero one week after 9/11, also visited the temporary museum nearby… and could never grasp the immensity of devastation and lives lost! then moved back to Switzerland. This was the first time we were able to visit this poignant memorial, so moving!

I have watched tv shows about 911 but it wasn’t until I actually came to the memorial, that I could understand the full impact. I am still trying to process my emotions… I encourage everyone to see this and experience the raw pictures of the people of NYC.

A very sad but very good exhibition. Something I only saw on TV became real. An event that changed the whole world became something I could grasp.

An interesting museum to visit for all. Well set out with lots to read and artifacts to see, covering just about everything. I particularly liked to see a section for the dogs. A tear or two was shed, especially when listening to the friends and relatives talk of their loved ones lost in the disaster. I just hope the world in general learns from it all.
