Private Custom New York City Tour by SUV

Great way to explore and learn about NYC, We had a great time with tour guide Sheldon and driver Alex. We’re able to make the most of our limited time in the city.

Sheldon picked us up from our Casablanca Hotel in Times Square in a large Mercedes Van. Perfect for our adult couples and 80 year old Mom. 5 adults for over 5 hours on a tour of "our" Lifetime. We heard history and information that you can't get in any book or from 99% of tour guides. We saw so much of the highlights of NYC, through Manhattan, Central Park, East & Hudson River views, Grand Central Terminal, 9/11 Memorial Ground Zero, Brooklyn, DUMBO and so Much More. We will always Cherish the time we spent with Sheldon and crew and Highly recommend them to all. Having spent so much of his life in NYC area- he will never run out of different areas to tour or stories and history for us to enjoy in his Favorite City. Highly recommend a private tour with this crew.

we had a good time and was shown most of what new york has to offer. tour guide was very informative and knew most things to detail and we did also go back to visit ground zero as we didnt have enough time to see the museum

Pros: Tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting details we would have never known otherwise. Cons: -Driver drove fast so was hard to really take in/see many of the sites. -Driver drove a bit recklessly and kept getting whiplash -Tour guide and Driver argued a lot which made it very uncomfortable for us. At one point the tour guide asked the driver to slow down, then the driver slammed on the breaks. -Tour guide wanted to sit with us so I had to sit in the middle and could see pretty much nothing. We wished we just took one of the cheap open bus tours so that we weren't in the middle of an awkward argument and could see the sites better.

The US women’ Soccer celebration threw a big monkey wrench in our planned tour,but even with huge traffic problems, our guide “Bernice” did a great job of improvising. We ended up seeing just about everything in spite of the crowds.Great folks. Knowledgeable,innovative and entertaining.

Sheldon was a fount of knowledge and we found ourselves constantly saying” I did not know that” even though we have resided part time in the area for many years. Al, our driver handled the van with proficient skill and determination. A requirement when driving anywhere in NYC. Sheldon obviously loves what he is now doing and he communicates skillfully with the disparate ages of those he is guiding. He gave us and our 15 year old granddaughter an insightful and thoughtful tour of Manhattan from 96th all the way to GroundZero and back to our residential lodging spot. He offers humor as well as an intellectual perspective and clearly loves NYC and Brooklyn. He found great views of the city skyline from several vantage points. He insures your full attention by insisting everyone turn their cell phones off, except for photo ops in order to be able to impart his vast knowledge of the history of the city. It was a flexible tour giving us the chance to see things we particularly wanted to see yet offering him the chance to show us many things we never knew about. All in all it was a great day and we sincerely appreciate and applaud his efforts to insure we were satisfied customers. As with many things in NYC it was not an inexpensive tour, yet we think it was worth it thanks mainly to Sheldon.

Our tour was fantastic! In 5 hours Sheldon showed us at least 2 to 3 days worth of "New York" must sees AND many other NYC sites which makes NYC and its surrounding areas so unique to USA history and culture. Sheldon and Borris were great!!

I had my family of five touring New York was a very personal experience and was well worth the money. Sheldon did a great job of tailoring the experience and was very knowledgeable of New York history.

If you want the best of New York take a tour with Sheldon, my kids thought he was a blast, it was a very fun and insightful tour will do again if we get back to New York Chris

Sheldon was excellent! I could not have asked for a better experience. My parents and I got to see the real Brooklyn, from a native New Yorker. We loved it and would definitely do it again!
