Ferry from Nice to St Tropez

Nice ride on French Riviera. A tad too long at 2 hrs 30 minutes to St. Tropez. Maybe one could for the experience take a shorter ferry ride upto Cannes.

Perfect way to travel to Saint Tropez from Nice! Not only was it easy, you could sit outside, one of the crew members gave us all some laughs along the way!

Brilliant trip. Staff were exceptional. Woukd certainly recommend it. Wish we had known about st Margaret, as we would have spent the day there

The boat ride along the French Riviera was stunning! Saint Tropez was charming. Everything was perfect about the trip. I could not more highly recommend it!

Costly ferry ticket, terrible operator and service! I had a confirmed reservation more than a month before and was on a really tight schedule in Nice. On the day itself, I missed the boat's 9 am departure, but assumed I could easily join the return trip since I had a confirmed Viator-issued round-trip ticket. I called Trans Cote d Azur right away and explained the situation, particularly as I had only that day, but was told I had to wait until 11 am after the boat had picked up passengers in Cannes; apparently, it was up to the captain. Trans Cote d Azur later informed me that the captain said the boat was full—obviously from having taken on new paying passengers! Trans Cote d Azur reasoned that since I did not show up to receive their own ferry ticket on the day of the departure, I had forfeited my seat also for the 5 pm return. I thought this was totally unacceptable having a paid and confirmed round-trip reservation! Nonetheless, I was ready to settle for a partial refund; Trans Cote d Azur refused and said they could only offer me another date knowing full well I would be gone by then! Eventually, I discovered I could take the train and bus to St Tropez from Nice and back; there was also a ferry between St Raphael and St Tropez operated by Transport Maritime Raphaëlois--all for half Trans Cote d Azur's price of USD 87! To be honest, I truly felt like a victim after this experience. I strongly hope Viator will do better by putting up mechanisms to protect its innocent clientele from unscrupulous tour operators such as Trans Cote d Azur. And please stop the practice of dual ticketing and double reservations. Thank you!

Great boat ride and the boat was clean as a whistle. THe seating was not super comfortable and they don't offer much of anything for snacks (maybe because it was the last day of their season, not sure). St Tropez is a great place to visit as well.

This is just a ferry ride from Nice with 2 stops in between. One to Cannes and one to a little island. There is no tour or really a guide. There is no alcohol served at all on the boat so bring your own. It was a beautiful day and lovely way to commute to the different areas in the Mediterranean but it is probably overpriced by double. Ferry’s in other cities, San Francisco for example are about $40 round trip. If your budget is tight you can easily get to all these spots by train. That’s it.

The ferry was clean and on time. You have about 5 hrs in St. tropez to eat and walk around and be on your own. Village is very Small so it does not take much to go around. It perfect to get there, see the village, and eat at one of the top restaurants where all celebrity goes. .

Pre-booked this but just as simple and cheaper (you'll save around £10) to buy a ticket on the day. Get there early though to get an exterior seat (outbound and return) otherwise you'll end up having to sit inside which isn't the most comfortable area when it's hot outside.
