Good tour.

Very good tour. Great tour guide (Troy). Very informative and efficient. Only drawback was that for 9:00 tour the 11:45 boat out to Arizona provides a little too much time for browsing exhibits unless you want to do the separate Bowfin submarine tour.

After a confusing pickup occasioned by unclear instructions from your tour operators staff, the tour was ok. You could shorten the trip by an hour and still accomplish your objectives.

Garfield our bus driver was fantastic, he was a wealth of wisdom, he stories were fascinating and entertaining. Pearl Harbor was a somber experience and it was great to pay respects to all the men who battled and lost their life.

Pearl Harbor: Arizona Memorial, Honolulu CIty and Punchbowl Tour

I liked this tour because everything about Pearl Harbor was taken care of for us. This includes the bus ride there, the entry fee, the boat ride and the tour of Arizona Memorial. We were able to spend some extra time looking at the exhibits. As far as the city portion of the tour, we did see some cool sights around Honolulu. This was great as I would not have been able to see these sights without this tour. With this portion of the tour, we did not spend much time at each place and there were a few places that it would have been nice to spend a bit more time. Overall, this trip had a good overview of the city and a great tour of Pearl Harbor.

Disappointing

The tour began on the wrong foot and only got worse. We were told to meet at the meeting spot at 10 minutes before 0900 which we did. When the bus hadn't shown up by 0930 I called the company and was told the bus driver was running late but would be there soon. The bus finally arrived by 1000 but then spent another 30 minutes picking up other tour guests before finally heading to Pearl Harbor. We arrive at Pearl Harbor around 1100 and were then only given 2 hours to visit the Arizona Memorial and the multiple museums on site. We rushed back to the bus at 1300 only to sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes listening to the bus driver tell stories; we could have spent this time in the museums or getting lunch but we had been told not to be late. The bus finally departed for the Punchbowl where we did a slow drive through the memorial instead of being allowed to get out at the visitor center and explore on our own. The last part of the tour was a quick tour of downtown Honolulu before the tour ended earlier than the advertised time (even though we had started almost 90 minutes late.) Our tour was booked through Viator but sold to Polynesian Adventure Tours whom we did other tours with and were satisfied but this one was very disappointing. The bus driver said she was late in the morning because of too many employees calling out sick that day but we should have been allowed to reschedule or been told that the visit to Pearl Harbor was going to shorter than normal.

Dispointed

The directions for pickup are unclear for Honolulu. When we called they sent another shuttle before describing to us how to find it. We were down street but driver could not bother to wait for us or try to find us. No refunds and they told me they did not care about a bad review. We ended up Uber to Pearl Harbor to catch half of tour. The hotel covers a whole block we were on wrong end of the only street name they gave us. Why not give the name of the 2 roads at corner we needed. The tour may be good but customer service worst I have ever seen!!!

Our tour guide was amazing! She was passionate about Honolulu and shared so many interesting things with us. She had a great sense of humor and made the trip to punchbowl and Pearl Harbor very interesting for all of us. She also did a great job of reminding us of the importance of the places we visited and helped me remember the respect that needs to be given to those lost at Pearl Harbor. My teenage son and daughter also thoroughly enjoyed the tour, which is a great accomplishment. They even commented that they could have spent more time and seen more. Wow! The only unfortunate part of our tour was that we could not actually go on the Arizona Memorial. This was out of our tour guide's control. We would have loved to have gone on the memorial.
