Discover the natural beauty of Kualoa Ranch on a self-drive UTV tour of Ka’a’awa Valley. Following a guide, traverse the lush valley in an open-air 4WD vehicle to check out filming sites from Hollywood movies such as "Jurassic Park." Plunging over streams and through the mud to reach remote areas, this adventure is a great way to see more of Oahu outside the resort and beach areas. UTVs hold two to six people, depending on the number of kids in your party.

  • Required check in 45- minutes prior to tour time selected at the Kualoa Ranch Ticket Office
  • Photo ID matching the name on the reservation will need to be shown at check in
  • When booking online ONE vehicle is held for your reservation (2 guests minimum required/6 guests maximum per Raptor vehicle)
  • Most travelers can participate
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

We wanted to have a little adventure on our trip so we chose Kualoa Ranch. We had so much fun riding through the valleys with Ethan as our guide; he was so knowledgeable of the ranch history. Ethan makes a funny video of you being chased by a dinosaur. Would highly recommend to see the valley from the inside; you will definitely get dirty on the ride!!

The tour guides (AJ and I forgot the other gentleman's name) did an excellent job with leading our group and sharing history of Hawaii. The tour is very dusty so be prepared and cover everything from your head to your feet and any gear that you don't want to get dirty.

Bring goggles... (your sunglasses will not be enough). Let me start by saying our guides (Ashley & Esther) were friendly, funny very knowledgeable and made us feel safe. This is an experience you can get VERY dirty on due to the distance they ask you to keep between the vehicles (the video says 2 lengths, but they ask you to stay 1) and the dirt gets EVERYWHERE!!! Bring a bandana or mask especially is you have any respiratory/sinus issues. The views and stops were well timed and were breathtaking. This is really done best with 2 drivers that trade off so everyone gets to enjoy the scenery. The respect and care for the land is very apparent and I appreciated all the history and stories that the team shared with us. This is a place that has a lot to offer but you need to plan ahead to get into the hot ticket tours.
