We went into the caves and saw beautiful rock formations. The whole canyon is very picturesque and amazing to experience. It does get hot though, so make sure to bring water! There are also a few plants and animals to see there, and the walk down is not very far.

We originally wanted to go to Upper or Lower Canyon X but we were to late to get tickets so we went to Canyon X. It was great! Not crowded and the guide was very good telling stories and his knowledge of the area was very good. The canyon was amazing and we are so glad we went to Canyon X!!

Very stressful beginning, our tickets bought through viator weren’t submitted for the right day, even though I received confirmation email and text with the right day. Thanks to the mercy of the receptionist at the canyon site they allowed us to get in. The Canyon is amazing!

It was an awesome tour. We had a good guide. At the end when we reached the top from the canyon being from Tennessee not use to elevation or dryness I was very winded and a guide named LEO offer led to give me a ride to the car park. I greatly appreciated it. THANK YOU LEO!!!!

It was an awesome experience! Tara was our tour guide and she did a great job. I was amazed when she demonstrated how the canyon started with the elements of wind, sand and water. If only we’re allowed to take a video. Otherwise, it is still a great experience. Not a very crowded tour, everything was organized.

Worthwhile and beautiful

Great rock formations to photograph in small groups of about 15. Wonderful knowledgeable guide. She helped with phone camera settings that enhanced the beautiful lighting effects! Be aware that you are expected to caravan down to the site in your own vehicle. There are irregular wooden steps that lead down to the floor of the canyon with benches to rest at several landings along the way.

Viator never let the tour company know we booked the tour

Due Tunnel fire in Flagstaff we could not travel up to Page since 89 was shut down. We called the tour company and were told Viator never let them know we were booked for the tour. A 2 hour drive would have turned into a 4 hour drive to Page from Flagstaff. Viator has yet to refund us our money.

The canyon is beautiful and well worth the tour! We were awe-struck the entire time. We loved having Charmange as our tour guide and learning from her about the canyon, the area, and the Navajo people.

Terrible Directions
ROD_R
, Apr 2022
There needs to be a map included with all the other info included with the ticket. Also, the start time is very confusing. You need to show 2 times, arrival (Check in) time, and tour begins time. One cannot decipher when it says departure time, but that’s when checking in happens. We had to wait 1 1/4 hours after checking in. We won’t use Viator again.

Loved the Canyon itself ....

Loved the Canyon itself . A lot of Misleading information, had to run around for an hour to find the correct tour company our tickets were moved to. Canyon has very steep steps down ,company needs to advise of severity of the steep walk down to the canyon, especially ppl with knee issue. Biggest disappointment was having to wear masks while taking the tour, one doesn’t come often , should have at least let ppl take down the masks for pics . The canyon itself is phenomenal.
