Traveling down the river cruise with my wife and son on our 44th wedding anniversary was something very special. The host was great the food was delicious and the champagne was refreshing. In our evening it was sprinkling outside and it was nice t see the Eiffel Tower and the Ferris wheel as we passed by enjoying our dinner. We plan to do it again for our next anniversary.

Everything was good except our confirmation was not properly relayed to the cruise operator. They made it work for us but it was inconvenient and we had to wait until everyone had boarded before we could board. The cruise and dinner were nice but nothing spectacular. Was expecting a bit better food.

The cruise lasted 1 hour 15 minutes and was held on an old wooden boat, nothing like what is shown in the picture. The food was average at best. The staff were incompetent. There was no music or atmosphere. Terrible cruise and absolute waste of money. Completely ruined our evening.

I impulsively purchased when we had a free night hoping it would be romantic. The food was okay but they couldn’t cook a medium rare steak (I wouldn’t call it steak). Then, even though we were promised an up-front table with privileged views, nothing stopped the other tables from walking up to your table and leaning over to get pics of the sites.

I spent a lot of money on this cruise to celebrate my anniversary and have a special evening. The tickets clearly stated no casual attire and we happily complied. But I was seated next to a couple in shorts (one in very short denim cut offs) and sneakers. There were many many others in the same garb. Backyard bbq clothes. The cruise was an hour and a quarter, not the 2 hours promised and terribly hot. Service was poor and we had to ask twice for more water. The food was good, but the ambiance was so completely opposite what was advertised it ruined the evening for me. Terribly disappointed and will never book again.
