  • The last stop on the Morning Tour is at Gems Gallery International, the biggest gem store and factory in the world. Take advantage of complimentary soft drink, the air-conditioned lounge, the cinema and visit the factory and the enormous store with your own personal assistant. You may CHOOSE to stay here for as long as you want OR leave straight away, the choice is yours and your guide will see that you receive transportation back to your hotel as quickly as possible
  • The Afternoon Tour will not stop at Karon Viewpoint or conclude at Gems Gallery BUT focuses more on the Walking Tour of Phuket Old Town and concludes with the view from Promthep Cape
  • One of Phuket's largest sources of income comes from Cashew Nuts. A brief, yet popular, visit will be made to one of the island's first Cashew Nut factories. Enjoy free samples. Any purchases are optional and at your own expense
  • *Views of the sunset from Promthep Cape is depending on weather conditions
  • There is a minimum number of people required for the afternoon tour to operate. Only very rarely is there occasion for a booking to have shift to the morning tour OR to another afternoon due to lack of numbers.
  • Should your travel plans change, do not worry. I Asia Thailand will do all possible to change your booking to fit with your new travel arrangements free of charge.
  • Regarding passengers on a Shore Excursion from the cruise - the SHARED tour is not applicable. Passengers on a Shore Excursion must book the PRIVATE tour.
  • Infant seats are available but cannot be guaranteed. They are on a 'first booked-first served basis'
  • Most travelers can participate
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 40 travelers

Great start, poor ending

Picked up by A on time. A was a superb driver and our guide Toy very knowledgeable and spoke good English. We visited many beautiful beaches but sadly the tour did not stop at any of them apart from a mountain top to view the beaches from a distance. We visited the Big Budda and a wonderful collection of Temples which was the highlight of the tour. We then drove through Old Town Phuket but sadly did not have time to stop and get anything to eat or drink. We then went to a cashew nut factory where you we pestered to by nuts, we then went to aGem factory where you were pestered to buy Jewellery. Overall disappointing as great start but poor finish to the tour with too much emphasis on getting money out if the gullible tourist.

Hi Peter, Thanks for your review. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies concerning the end of the tour that you have faced. However we like to point out that you booked the morning tour which includes the gem factory and also the cashew nut factory. If you did not want to go then you don’t have to. You can choose the afternoon tour which DOES not include the Gem Factory. We have a lot of clients who want to visit the largest gem factory in the world so we also have to respect this. This is why we offer 2 options. We are not sure why you booked the option with the GEM factory. We also don’t agree “getting money from the gullible tourist” as this is not the case. Next time please book the afternoon tour without the gem factory. I hope you understand we have to cater for all clients but I Asia Thailand do give you a choice. Thanks. Nick

This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide Lee was amazing. He gave a lot of information and stopped to let us buy stuff around when needed. He was very attentive and it made the whole experience that much better! Our drive Mr. A was also amazing! Great driver and very friendly!

This was the best or we experienced on the island. Aisha Thailand were amazing. The guide was so much fun and we really enjoyed the sites around Phuket. Personally we even enjoyed the gem factory and we were not hassled by any of the staff as some of the reviews said. We were also told it’s our choice to go in or not. This tour only cost us 20 usd Which was amazing venue considering all the places the company actually took you to visit. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Phuket because taking a taxi to these places will cost you 10 times more.

Very professional and kind customer care during the whole trip. Thanks to Toy ( our guide ) and our driver we saw the highlights of the southern Phuket. One negative thing and an advice to the operator - please cut the jewelery store off the programme - there’s no added value to it.
