Alan the tour guide at Jungle Maya Park was awesome. He went very quickly, leaving us behind at times to where we would have run back towards the group and we’d miss out on instructions. Would recommend not falling behind by being the first to go on activities. Don’t eat too much sugar beforehand, you’ll get eaten alive by the mosquitos. Lunch was around 11 and very delicious. The Tulum Ruins tour was long, the walk was almost torture. Ultimately, the beachside view of Tulum made it all worthwhile. Would recommend bringing the most comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting wet or dirty, this goes for both the tour and jungle run.

Hands Down Best Tour

Our tour guide Erick was the best I’ve had. This was my sister’s first excursion she isn’t too savey in water/zip lining but Erick made her feel so comfortable even guiding her in the water. He’s very knowledgeable in all that we did. 10 stars. Literally the money is worth it.

The cenote snorkel was AMAZING.

I thought the 4X4 Ride meant ATV ride but Instead you are in a 4X4 vehicle ride to the jungle. Once you get there you take a walk to a underground cenote which is beautiful and then some ziplining and repealing. You also zipline into water. SO much fun. The guides were excellent! The Cenote snorkeling was my favorite. I felt like I was able to see a underground world! You also visit Tulum which is BEAUTIFUL. Lunch at the end of the day was really good! They do take pictures during your visit which you can purchase at the end of your day.

Overall good experience with some concern

I had a great overall experience. My pickup driver was Aaron and he was amazing, he was engaged during my ride and I wished I had seen him again so that I can tip him. He said I will see him again, so I assumed he will be my driver back but nope it was in passing at a distance! Once dropped off, Julio is our guide for the cenote, the zip lining, and the rappelling! Julio is an amazing guide and made sure everyone in the group is looked after and as well answered any questions we may have. I have a fear of height and looking into the hole for the rappelling was nerve wrecking. Julio and his team walked us through the process and made it such an awesome experience for a few of us with our fear of height! The next two were the zipline, that was fun! The climb up to the tower for it was quite a workout but I am also out of shape :-) The next one was the zipline into the cenote where we have to land with our butt into a semi dark cave! Fear not, There is a guy on the other end to help us! That was fun and we were encourage to do it twice. The next part was the swimming in the cenote, I have done it before but every time it is an amazing experience. The water is cool and crisp and very clear!!! We got a little history about limestones and the cenotes etc. it was also nice to swim in one of the longest, if not the longest underground river in the world! While swimming through cenote, we saw cave divers below us in the deeper section of the cenote! That was interesting. Then it was on to the 5th and final zip lining, against it was nice. Zipping through the jungle! Finally on to lunch! It was one of the more disappointing part of the excursion as the write up noted a buffet lunch. Noted with Covid and all, if that is not safe to do a buffet style lunch then the verbiage should have change so that people are not expecting this! Now onto a another disappointing note. It clearly listed 4x4 in the header. there is no 4x4! Period! Lastly off to Tulum Maya archaeological site. I am not into this so for me it was okay… I was in and out under 30 minutes. The guide just let us loose and we were to explore on our own. Would have been nice for it to be a walking and guided tour! But anyways, I work my way to the Starbucks and then to souvenir shop before the drop off back to the condo! Overall it was good except for the few disappointing points noted earlier

Good Experience

The guides were very good and we enjoyed the rappelling, swimming and ziplining very much. The photographers did a great job capturing the day for us! This appeared to be the best of the land excursions offered by any of the agencies. Our day started at 6 am for an early breakfast, then pickup at our hotel at 7:30. The activities ended with an enjoyable lunch with our fellow guests. After lunch, we were a bit worn out from the adventure, but still had to visit Tulum. The guide was very nice and quite knowledgeable, but standing in the hot sun for the tour was a bit much. We would have preferred to do this part on another day. The entire day's adventure was supposed to be 6 hours, but we it actually lasted from 7:30 pickup until 4:30 dropoff. It was a good day, but just a bit longer than anticipated.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we understand that the tour could be a little bit longer, we have also an option to do the same activity without Tulum.

Absolutely Great! Our tour guide was great, Intergenic, and full of wonderful information! The cenote was amazing! I can’t wait to go back and do it all over again! The pictures really do no justice. Try to go first thing in the morning! For sure some nice perks to be the only ones there.. no crowds! Lunch was great as well! We will be booking again when we are back!

AMAZING TRIP! Unbeatable Value!!

Rudy and Eric made the experience. We wanted to see the Tulum ruins and found this tour with all the other fun activities. Amazing day! Rudy was super knowledgable about the ruins and so friendly. Eric made the experience super memorable. He tied in Mayan culture with the action/adventure. We laughed and really felt like we were a part of his family for the day...great guy and super passionate about what he does.
