Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Start your day with an optional pickup from hotels in San Juan, or make your own way to the marina in Fajardo. As your catamaran pulls up anchor and heads into the cerulean seas, check out great views of the coastline’s beaches, plus scenic vistas of nearby El Yunque National Forest. Don’t forget to enjoy a piña colada, rum punch, soda or juice from the bar on the way.

Your catamaran arrives at Icacos Cay, part of a chain of 10 small islands that comprise La Cordillera Keys Nature Reserve. If weather conditions require, your captain may navigate instead to the equally stunning island of Palominitos. Then hop in the water for some aquatic activities, including snorkeling on the nearby reef, swimming or beachcombing on the shore of this placid paradise.

When you start to get hungry around midday, head back to the boat for a buffet spread. Build a sandwich from the included array of fresh-baked bread (pan de agua), sliced meats including turkey, ham, pastrami and salami, sliced cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Make sure to also grab some sides, including gourmet pasta salad, chicken salad, coleslaw, bean dip, chips, cookies, and fresh fruit.

Following lunch, your catamaran heads to another reef for more snorkeling or sunbathing. While underwater, keep your eyes peeled for reef creatures including colorful fish and the occasional octopus or manta ray. Or stay dry on the deck, where you can gaze at the sea life through glass windows or shoot down the boat’s built-in waterslide.

Your relaxing sailing day finishes with a return cruise back to the harbor, where you can find your optional hotel transportation back to San Juan.

Honest opinion - read before you go

Nice ride, nice lead instructor . Scenery could’ve been better considering the location. Upset because when i called they told me there was no more double atvs for rent so l left half my party home because they don’t have license only to come out here and find that we could’ve brought them because all the atvs are double seaters. And BTW there’s no extra charge for two people. Was expecting palm trees and fruit trees. But the bumpy road was fun to ride one

Soooooo amazing!! Just smiled and had a blast from the very beginning! Scenery was absolutely beautiful, sailboat was very nice and clean, food was DELICIOUS (and I’m picky), and the staff honestly made the trip! They were always walking around making sure we had full drinks, asked if we needed any pictures taken, and made sure we were having fun! The second stop we made at the reef was so cool! Saw so many species of fish and corals. On the way back we all danced and listened to music! I thought it was one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on!! Just be prepared to drink, listen to music/dance, and have fun or this trip is not for you!!

Boat Life

This was a really nice boat ride! Our crew was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with food/drinks or any questions asked. Plus there was music played along the way. I would recommend this tour... Just an fyi, once the boat was docked it didn't go all the way to the shore/sand, you have a nice swim to get to the sand starting out with at least 6 feet of water...and with that we ended up staying on the boat and putting our feet in the water. Still very enjoyable...
