Helicopter Tour from Punta Cana with Hotel Pick-up

Excellent tour. Pilot didn't talk too much until the return portion of the flight. Flight was smooth and definitely got to see lots of the coastline. Seeing most resorts that were close to downtown Punta Cana. You will get your entire flight time so do not worry.

Great experience! You will not be disappointed!! The staff are very friendly and the helicopter experience was breathtaking. It's like having a bird-eye's view of DR. I did the 20 minute ride and it was just enough time to enjoy an unforgettable event. Weather was great, they accommodate you with restrooms and water or coffee. Pictures are taken near a statue helicopter only (not while in the air, but they do allow you to bring your camera) and available for purchase for a really great price. If you're looking for a something exciting and thrilling this is a great booking!

Flight was amazing however taxi did not turn up to hotel to pick us up at 08.00 when we called we was told to call back at 09.00 so in the end had to pay out $20 to get a taxi to take us so we didn't miss our flight

Really! Ima lawyer in the states. I tried to be fair. I’ll get my money back. I PAID FOR TWO , but FOUR was in my Group! I ain’t pay for that. Okay

My wife and I booked this trip as part of our honeymoon, and we don't regret it at all. A truly incredible experience from start to finish. The trip was confirmed with the tour operator a few hours after paying for it (we reserved the date and time in advance and paid a few weeks before we flew out). Picked up from our Hotel (Riu Palace Punta Cana) at the exact time the tour operator confirmed and it was only a short drive (15 minutes) from the hotel. After a short safety video, we took part in an optional photoshoot that was a lot of fun with the friendly, in-house photographer (the photos I've shared are my own, not from the shoot). The flight was incredible, flying up the coast, turning and flying back. This made sure that people sat on both sides of the Helicopter got to experience both of the epic views. Once we got back on land, we got to review the photos and had the option to buy both digital or printed images (no pressure selling, just review and buy if you like), we loved the images so decided to buy them all as digital images. Before we left the site, we had a link to the online gallery and all the images in high resolution. If you're considering this trip, I would 100% recommend the 20 minute flight! Bad hotel. Bad food. Rude staff. Not nice .don’t go to hard rock hotel total waste of money . Bust o get to beach , 10 min walk to get reheated food and wait in line

I had a reservation with my tickets and everything was ready for the family helicopter tour for 20 minutes in Punta Cana, however a day before I received an email saying that the tour had been canceled and that the refund would take between 3 to 7 business days. The next day we saw that the helicopters were flying and I entered the Viator page and made a reservation again. I get the Booking Reference and Confirmation number. I download the tickets on my cellphone and everything was happiness. Three hours later, I received via email from Viator (They tell you that all communications are through the Chat of their platform) which I did and the communication I received was that my tour was canceled because there was no availability. I repeat, I already had the tickets downloaded to my cellphone. We immediately started back and forth communications telling me that I had to cancel if I wanted to get my refund. I never canceled as they had canceled and should at least process the refund. When they canceled the tour again, they did not even bother to process the refund of my money. More than 500 Dollars for that reservation. I tried an entire afternoon (of my vacations) unsuccessfully trying to get Viator to call me on my phone and give me a coherent explanation of these two situations. I was with the collaboration of the staff of the Royalton Bavaro Hotel, unsuccessfully dialing the number that appears on the platform since they never answered it. On the 21st when we were supposed to have our tour, we showed up at the Royalton Bavaro Lobby, to wait for our transfer to the tour, seeing that they did not appear, we returned with the help of the hotel staff to call to see what happened. Finally someone answered and confirmed that I had no excursion ... and they did not deign to process the refund either. Our day was a resounding fiasco thanks to the ineptitude and lack of professionalism on the part of the Customer Service people. The worst thing was knowing that on both occasions I had downloaded the tickets, the booking reference and the confirmation numbers and the service was NEVER provided to us. When I was able to communicate, I spoke to them in Spanish, which is my first language, the same one they use in the Dominican Republic, I also spoke to them in English, and curiously the call dropped. I am a former Sales manager in several tour operators and this is the first time I have used the Viator Services. We will definitely never use it again AND I recommend that those who read this review DO NOT USE IT, it is not worth your vacation time nor is it worth seeing your vacation dreams frustrated
