Nice but
, May 2022
The driver not very pleasant. Historical places excellent but places to pull over not great to quickly jump off take 1 picture shot. But the aurora lights location, staff was excellent
Not bad to get around…
, May 2022
While the hop-on hop-off aspect seems appealing, I really wish the timeframe was a bit longer. There’s so much to see and do, and the city is incredibly walkable, but only being able to catch a ride back to hotel area until 1630 is disappointing.
Always worth doing.

A great way to see the city before deciding what you want to see. During your visit. Thought the wait at the bus terminal was too long.
Does what it says on the tin!

Used the hop on hop off service to get a feel for Reykjavik. Friendly driver and good narrative to listen to between stops.

Don't do it
, Mar 2022
buses didn't come standing in the sleet waiting and waiting finally they came and left us off at the national museum--but didn't tell us it was closed on Mondays; finally got a taxi
Very useful!

The stop for this hop on hop off bus was just a 5 minute walk from our hotel and takes you to all the main museums etc, very handy way to save on taxis! Do the full tour first and then stay on to get to the stops you want to visit.

Not worth it
, Jan 2022
Runs very limited hours and does not stop everywhere during the winter. As I am recovering from a broken leg, I didn't want to walk more than I had to so I booked this bus. It got me to Hallgrimskirkja and back to Harpa Music Hall but you end up standing waiting for the bus for quite some time.

It was okay
, Nov 2021
We did this on our last day in iceland to explore the city and we did see the city and found spots we would like to get off at and explore. Only thing is we didn't realise that the buses did not run for 24hrs as the ticket said for 24hrs so we started around 2 and last bus was 5:30 so had to walk alot afterwards and use public transport at additional cost too to go to the hotel. So start early and you'll be able to see Reykjavik city properly as it is very beautiful and worth exploring.

This hop on hop off bus was very easy to use. It was easy to find the stops. The language of the narrator was quite good. The drivers were helpful. I think the text about the logistics should be updated by removing the reference to tickets at HARPA. They knew nothing about it and sent us outside to the bus stop. Bottom line: you don’t need to start at HARPA. You can start anywhere. Mt suggested second update: If you choose to print the voucher , the driver will give you a ticket which you need to keep track of for your 24-48 hours. If you just show your voucher on your phone, you don’t get a ticket and don’t have to remember where it is.

Nice route, but they need to add another bus as spacing was poor
, Jul 2021
Waiting way too long before the next bus. Buses should run about 30 minutes between. The spacing between these buses seemed quite a bit longer. The automatic narration was good, but additional details could have been provided. There was a lot of dead time.
