Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Saved to wishlist!
Your tour starts with pickup in Reykjavik in the morning by super Jeep for the drive to southern Iceland, where you'll explore areas around Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano that brought European air travel to a halt when it erupted in 2010.
Visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk along a path behind the falls, followed by a stop at Skógafoss, another popular waterfall. Check out black-sand beaches on the Atlantic, and watch for birds on the cliffs near the village of Vik. As you head back toward the city, pass by Hveragerði, a town named after the region's volcanic activity, and see another waterfall, Urrioafoss.
When you return to Reykjavik, your tour ends with hotel drop-off.
All tour vehicles have been modified with 40-inch (1-meter) wheels that can handle the challenging terrain all year. Jeeps are equipped with fold-down steps for easy accessibility, leather seats, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, GPS, a first-aid kit, trackwell, and other security equipment.
