Fun Experience

I actually ended up on this tour on my own and it was one of my favorite intimate experiences on my trip to Iceland. Icelandic people have lots of of folklore and my guide, Stephan, told a lot of wonderful stories while walking me around the city center of Reykjavik. Stephan told the stories with such enthusiasm that I felt like he was a dad telling his child bedtime stories. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who comes to Reykjavik.

The tour was fun, informative, and a great way to see some parts of the city we would not have normally discovered. Our guide was funny and kept things interesting and we learned about the history of the Icelandic culture. Highly recommend.

We did the 1:00pm tour on our first day and really enjoyed it...even the kids age 13 and 8. Our tour guide was great and told us about the history, folklore, and even a lesson on the Icelandic language. Plus the tour helped us get familiar with our surroundings. If you are arriving to Reykjavik in the morning, I suggest this tour. Especially if your hotel check in is after 2pm.

This tour was a lot of fun! You see interesting places in the city and our guide Snædís was super fun and so sweet to recommend places to eat/see. Overall, I’d recommend this tour to anyone (hell I’ve already mentioned it to some people we’ve met through other excursions).

Our Tour guide Bardi was great (informative and funny). It is a City Tour of a „different kind“. Try it yourself if you like stories of elfes, trolls, Odin, Thor... 😊

Great Tour

Even on a chilly November afternoon, we enjoyed our tour and loved Baldi's anecdotes. The tour gave us a different view of typical tourist places, and gave us a chance to venture out to areas we wouldn't have visited otherwise.

Really enjoyed the mythical tour. Snædís was an awesome guide, and made it really fun. Iceland has some wacky lore, so it was cool to hear about it from a local. Highly recommended!
