Private Golden Circle Tour from Reykjavik

Our group of 4 had a truly enjoyable and educational day with our tour guide Bjarni! Having a private group gave us the opportunities to spend time at each landmark with an additional greenhouse stop. Bjarni took us to a working farm with a field to table restaurant for lunch. All in all I highly recommend this tour and our guide Bjarni.

Great day out. BJ was an informative guide, perfect way to see this part of Iceland. The private tour allowed the option of some flexibility at each location, with time spent to explore as needed.

This was by far my favorite tour. Our guide Bjarni with BTH Travel was outstanding. He had so much info to share and wove in his own life to the places we visited. He made a couple of stops that were not on the itinerary and what a treat. It was so cool to see the tectonic plates and mid-Atlantic ridge. Amazing....Nothing I would change except it be longer.

What a beautiful and different country! Amazing seeing all the signs of past and recent volcanic activity, as well as beautiful waterfalls and geysers. Our guide was great - veryt personalble and informative. We loved his stories of Icelandic culture and lore. Highly recommended.

We truly enjoyed our Golden Circle Tour. Our day was filled with great information about the area, breath taking sites to see. The highlight of the trip was capturing the geyser as it went off. Highly recommend this tour!

We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the Golden Circle. Our guide was full of information and the tour was flexible based on what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to stay at each tour spot. The waterfalls were beautiful and the Geysir was amazing to see it spout so high- I even was able to catch it with me camera, an extra bonus.

We took a few tours during our stay in Reykjavik and this was our favorite! It was 4 of us and our private driver guide, a native Icelander, who added his personal experiences with the facts and explanations of what we were seeing. We were on our own schedule and got to choose our start time. We didn't have to wait for others on the tour to return to the 'bus' after each stop. We even made a couple of stops off the beaten path. I would recommend this tour as the best way to see the Golden Circle.

This tour was amazing, our guide was very friendly and informative. Being with a private guide we could see the sights at our own pace. We were able to actually pet horses and stop at a working farm for fresh made ice cream. Our guide was able to avoid most of the bus crowds.

We originally planned on doing the Golden Circle but did that a day earlier so we could do the waterfalls instead. Our fantastic guide Bjarni Þorsteinsson took us on the most amazing tour where we visited Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Gljúfrabúi waterfall, Skógafoss waterfall, Sólheimajökull glacier lagoon, Urriðafoss waterfall, and managed to do the entire thing in just under 7 hours. He was incredibly knowledgeable, prompt and helped us see the most incredible day of waterfalls you could possibly see in your life. Just amazing!
