You’ll be collected from your Reykjavik hotel in the morning. From here, you’ll embark on a 185-mile (300-km) route around Iceland’s Golden Circle, home to three of the country’s most spectacular natural landmarks.

Your first stop is Thingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates collide. Marvel at vast landscapes littered with rock formations and geysers before feasting your eyes on the Geysir Geyser, whose boiling mud pits and erupting geysers create an incredible sight.

See, too, the Gulfloss Waterfall, where inexorable torrents of water plunge 105 feet (32 meters) into deep crevasses. 

Your full-day tour concludes with hotel drop-off in Reykjavik.

Do yourself a favor and book this trip with extra stops on the way! It was amazing and very well organized trip. Thomas (our guide) was very professional, knowledgeable, funny and communicative. The Arctic Adventures is one of the two the best travel companies we used in Iceland. We will definitely use their services in the future when we will be back to the land of fire and ice! There are many ways and companies offering a Golden Circle tour, but do yourself a favor and sign up for this minivan tourmuch more comfortable and complete than a huge bus tour, plus you'll get more attention from your guide, who doesn't have to herd a larger group. We were lucky enough to have Heimir as our guide. No matter what question we threw at him, he had the answer, and delivered it with knowledge, patience and a great sense of humor. Like their website says, we ticked off all the must-see attractions on the Golden Circle, plus we had time for stops such as the Kerid crater, a visit with Icelandic horses, and a farm visit to taste ice cream made on siteopportunities that are largely or totally missing on bus tours. Everyone we met in Iceland had the Golden Circle as a must-see tour for their visit. Based on our experience, you'll be delighted if you book it in a minivan with Viator.

I did a lot of golden circle tour but this was by far the best because we stopped at the Kerid crater. The weather turned bad towards the end of the day though. Our guide Röggi is awesome. Very knowledgeable about the area. He’s resourceful and accomodating. Ask him a favor and he’ll make it happen.
