Highly recommend this. Once in a life time type experience thst doesn’t disappoint

Without doubt one of the best things I have done in my life. I have dived/snorkelled all around the world but nothing prepared me for the incredible blues/clear water/colours I saw during this experience. I went with the wetsuit as could dive more freely, was cold at the end but Maria was excellent at providing dry robes & hot chocolate to warm us up. The Viking Adventure Team were fantastic!!

I would recommend the dry suit if you want to stay dry or if you’re inexperienced in swimming. You stay buoyant the whole time but the seal for your wrists and neck are tight so be aware. Wet suit you get soaked head to toe. Definitely a unique experience and the water is super clear.. HOWEVER VERY COLD. Your hair, face and hands will be freezing. You’re in the water for approximately 30-35 minutes. Definitely recommend!

Luis was a great guide! We did the wet suits (had originally signed up for dry suits) and it was a great experience! We were nervous about being cold but the ability to move around and the beautiful sights were so worth it! Had a great time!

Maria was AMAZING. You are able to choose your suit once at the tour, and we went with wet suits. Maria was so energetic and led us on a fantastic tour. It was the best thing we did in Iceland!

Hands down the coolest thing I’ve ever done. My suit did get a leak but it didn’t matter because Maria made it fun. Luis and Maria are so funny together. I am definitely doing it again. My best friend Sara absolutely loved it too. But wants to do the wetsuit so she can move around better next time. Thank you again :)

Snorkeling in the clearest fresh water.

Looking to check off an item on your bucket list? This is a must do. I booked a snorkeling session with adventure vikings. Luis, Maria, and Alberto were great. They gave us a detailed briefing and got us in our dry/wet suits. They were clear and concise with their instructions. They answered any questions we had, making sure to check on us along the way as we were diving in the cold water of silfra. If you are planning to bring a gopro make sure you have a good strap on the handle you don't want to drop your camera. 10/10 would do again. The hot chocolate at the end hit different after snorkeling in the cold water 🙂

This was a once in a lifetime experience for me and my family. The water had shades of blue I don’t typically see underwater and the clarity of the water was amazing. Luis and Maria were excellent guides! They made our trip informative and fun. They also offer wetsuits for those that are daring. If I did this again, I would have picked the dry suit (my error).

quite an effort to suit up but well worth it. Our guide Maria was extremely helpful and patient since we needed extra help. Glacier water is crystal. clear and you can drink it as well swim in it😃 Lots of fun!

Once in a lifetime

This was a once in a lifetime experience! The guide was terrific (and he told me to include handsome as well). I almost chickened out but Rob was so patient with me he made it easy. He explained everything and took lots of pictures. The small group size made it very easy to stay together. I used a wetsuit and was very happy with it. I did not really feel cold except for my face. The lobster style gloves and booties keep you reasonably warm and able to enjoy the clear water and unbelievable views. Highly recommend this tour!
