This was one of the best things we did while in Iceland! Breath-taking views and our guide, Joao, was both hilarious and informative. He made the whole trip amazing and taught us so much! This excursion will forever be one of the most amazing experiences of my lifetime. Thank you, Joao!

Because of weather condition we didn’t reach the glacier walk but the tour guide had others options for 2 waterfalls which were beautiful too

Julian was a great guide! Pick up was prompt. He had interesting facts along the way. Played some great Icelandic music also. The glacier walk/hike was amazing! Wished I’d used the bathroom first! We were gone for quite awhile.

Had a great time seeing a few of Iceland's beautiful, natural wonders. The glacier walk was a lot of fun. Well-organized with gear and instructions/reminders to stay safe. Mike, our tour guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. He was also helpful to a woman in our party who was not as "skilled" at hiking as the rest of our group. Would highly recommend. Worth every penny. Felt like a bargain for all we saw and did!

Walking on a glacier was once in a lifetime experience. All other stops were great too. The only complaint is the long walk from the bus to the glacier.

Throughout the time I was in Iceland the weather could not be the worst. It rained all the time. I booked two other tours before this one, volcano hike and snowmobiling were both canceled due to the bad weather. Although it was raining, we went on the glacier walk. We had the best tour guide Mike. This turned out to be the best experience I have ever done even though the weather wasn’t the best. Highly recommended!

tour was amazing all the way and every stop is worth it. Mike was really a professional and helped everyone in the Glacier hike which was the most amazing experience. though it might be difficult for some and requires medium level of fitness.

This was an amazing adventure, the chance to actually hike in a glacier! Plus we checked out waterfalls, the black sand beach, there were 3 of us and we all loved it. Mike our guide was awesome, very patient with us while hiking on the glacier. Mike also helped us take some great photos, this was our favorite excursion in Iceland.

Review for: South Coast with Glacier Walk - Minibus from Reykjavik 8/30/2021

Review for: South Coast with Glacier Walk - Minibus from Reykjavik 8/30/2021 The minibus arrived in the 8-8:30am window on a raining morning. We were hoping that the day was going to get better. To our surprise, the tour guide had a sunny personality with a cute French accent! He assured us that the weather in Iceland can change very fast. And he was right! As the trip continued the rain continued in the morning. The first stops were incredibly beautiful and powerful waterfalls… where we got wet anyway. One of the waterfalls you could walk behind it! By the time Julian drove us to the Southcoast black sands beach, the rain magically stopped and we were able to enjoy the incredible view. All of the stones were tumbled smooth by the waves. The rock formations on the Clif side were incredibly beautiful. And happens to be in one of the scenes in the series GOT. Then Julian brought us to the glacier on the south coast. The glacier looked big, blue, white and mixed with black ash. We were outfitted with crampons (devices we attached to our shoes that has basically 12 knives at the bottom) near the glacier. Julian did a good job instructing on safety info and how to stomp walk as to not slip on the ice. We also got a chance to drink the fresh glacier water! Julian was entertaining and did a good job in taking care of us and instructing us on all things Iceland and on the phenomenal earth-science marvel that Iceland is. This is a must do tour!
