All our tours depart from Dalvik Harbor and the departure time is displayed on your voucher/confirmation. Meeting point: Arctic Sea tours ticket office in Dalvik village (next to N1 petrol station) We recommend arriving no later than 20 minutes prior to departure.

This activity will end right where it started.
Make your own way to Dalvik Harbor to meet your captain and hop aboard your boat. Then, admire magnificent views along the Eyjafjörður fjord and Hrísey Island as you set sail along Iceland’s north coast. Along the way, keep a lookout for humpback whales, as well as white-beaked dolphins and minke whales, as your captain tells you more about the many whale varieties found in the region.

Then, try your luck fishing along the coast, and pick up expert sea angling tips used by Icelandic fishermen. Finally, as you set off back to shore, cook up your freshly caught fish and tuck into a delicious barbecue lunch onboard.

While the intent of the whale watching experience is positive, the actual whale watching event was disappointing. It took time to moor from the harbor, the boat was so slow. The viewing of 4 tails was uneventful. The fishing was disappointing and no barbecue.
