Long journey back
Elena_R

The boat itself was big but very crammed. The crew were okay, a bit pushy and not very polite. We got to George bay after about 1hr 45mins and swam for 1 hour which was beautiful. They give you snorkelling and floating equipment. We then went to Symi which is 30mins away from the bay and had 3 hours there of free time. The journey back was over 2 hours, the boat was very slow and given that it was crammed and the seats aren’t that comfortable it felt a lot longer. The day was an 11 hour trip. The bay and Symi town were beautiful though.

The trip was good, departure on time, it was full, so there was crowded, so no option to keep distance. The swimming stop was nice.

Simi is so colourful traditional greek architecture island with wild beaches accessible by boat only...the comfortable ship took us to the best providing equipment crew entertained us with humour and food and sailing wisely of course...it is worth + super price (the same cost to visit 2-3 beaches on the Rhodes and it is 2 hours away)

Great experience ... but not this boat for seasick tourist

We didn't know that we are seasick... with this boat ( not the latest design ) you can feel the big waves and the moving of the boat can make u dizzy... if u have this problem you should maybe choose another company with bigger and moderner boat. The trip was very nice; the bay was amazing, no other tourist. The captain and his staff was very funny and friendly , did jokes and entertained the tourist. Symi is a small but lovely island. We had no luck with our restaurant choice . The sponge shop is vey recommended. Low price for a not fancy boat but a great entertainment and this is the most important.

Day Trip & Swim Experience To Symi Island
Suzanne_H
, Oct 2020
This is full day trip so be prepared to be out all day but its worth doing with a stop at the beautiful St Georges Bay and then a few hours in Symi itself. We saw a few boats just coming into the Bay and then saling off - it was fantastic to be able to swim. Bring things to do for the 2 hour trip each way. There is a small kiosk for tea and coffee and snacks on the boat. Lunch in Symi is easy to sort as there are so many restaurants it was just about making a choice, They all seemed reasonably priced and certainly our lunch was great! The boat is not luxurious by any means but its all run very well and COVID is taken seriously.

Swimming in clean waters and Dolphins.

We chose this tour for the price point (good value) and the beach stop. Both lived up to expectations and we had a great time going to Symi. Seating is self served so if you prefer a top deck area, arrive early. We arrived just before departure but this worked in our favour: we got cooler seating below and direct access to the lower deck, which was less crowded and more exciting - we saw Dolphins and jelly fish at this level. The beach stop was a lot of fun, and Symi just beautiful. The boat has a bar / cafe and swimming assists for all levels.
