Rome Shore Excursion: Pre-Cruise Private Sightseeing Tour Including Civitavecchia Port Drop-Off

Our driver was originally from Belgium which allowed for enhanced knowledge of not only Rome but Europe in general. When we asked her to stop for a pic, no problem! Patiently waited while we walked to Trevi Fountain.

Excellent tour of Rome highlights! Dareo was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He picked us up promptly at 9am and took us to additional sites and even took us to a supermarket to buy wine before taking us to the cruise port.

We had very comfortable tours 2 vans with Dario and I'm sorry, I forget names. Good drivers, crazy city! Happy to stop and take pictures, offered bottled water on this particularly hot, hot day. Would happily travel with these guys again!

Fantastic trip. The driver was punctual, friendly, and professional, and very accommodating in terms of were we wished to go and the stops we wished to make. We had very little time in Rome before catching the ship, and were it not for this trip we would have missed a great opportunity. I certainly recommend more in depth tours if you have the time. But if like us your short on time and really want to see Rome, this is a great way to go.

We were picked up 30 mins late, but the driver called the hotel to let us know beforehand. Mirko helped us communicate with local airline courier in Italian to locate our companions' lost luggage was flexible with our itinerary that we even went to claim the luggage from the wrong hotel where luggage was dropped off. As for the Pre-cruise sightseeing tour part, it is highly recommended if you are coming straight from the airport going to the cruise terminal. This write up is more to thank our driver for being helpful for safely transporting us to our destination. Our luggage were safe in the van while we had a brief stop at Trevi fountain.

It was excellent. Our driver was very considerate and polite. He explained the things we saw and answered our questions. He was also friendly and interested in our cruise. We appreciated being taken right to the check in point for the ship.

This was the best tour by far, the guide's name is Roberto., he was friendly, funny and super informative, he took us to the main landmarks like Fontana de Trevi, the Angel's castle, The Vatican and other beautiful places, we asked for pizza and gelato and he took us to his favorite restaurant! The pizza was amazing and the gelatto as well, I recomend Roberto for these type of tours! Loved this guy!

Prompt, friendly driver - certainly took us on a good tour but was disappointing that he was unable to provide us with information as to what we were seeing as English not spoken well enough.

This was one of the best tour we have ever taken. Our Driver was excellent and was able to show us the highlights of the city of Rome, before taken us to the port city. The Driver was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend this service/tour
