Our tour guide - Antonella- was so nice & enthusiastic.The highlight was the Capuchin Monastery - bit weird but fascinating.The Catacombs were really impressive.Not sure about the final visit to John & Pauls house seemed out of sync with the previous 2 sites.Overall a really enjoyable day - perfect for Halloween.

What a wonderful and different view of life in Ancient Rome. Andreas carefully guided us through the life and death rituals of the people of the time to give us a glimpse into their world. His knowledge was deep and he painted the picture of the transition from pagan worship through to Christian belief in the best detail we have experienced. If you are looking for something a little different, this is a great tour for you.

This tour is the Cappuccino monks Crypts, the catacombs and the underground history of the church of St John and St Paul was very interesting. Valerio was a very knowledgeable guide on the history of these 3 sites. The catacombs in particular were amazing. My only criticism (and it is a small one) is that there were 2 small children on the tour who were constantly talking and noisy distracting from hearing the information of the guide). I think they were bored after a while and I don’t think this tour was suitable for children so young (say under 5 years)

Small Group Tour?

The tour visited some very interesting sites that I feel like I did not see properly. The tour operator added extra people at the last minute which made the group too large. At the bone chapel the guide, Andrea, went from room to room explaining the sight but a large number of the group could not enter each room or see the attraction. Andrea made no attempt to make sure that all of the group was included. At the last stop of the tour Andrea led the group onto a road while collecting the radios and blocked traffic causing cars to honk. He did not have control of the group and caused a dangerous situation.
