A tour of all tours

Thanks to Francesca we had a fantastic evening. She was full of knowledge about the food and wine and shared lots of stories about the culture of Italy and in particular Rome. We did not expect to finish the tour with full stomachs but that we did and a little tipsy too. This was a highlight to our time in Rome and would encourage anyone to book.

When we turned up there was only us on our tour so it became a private tour. Our guide was very informative and the places we visited were excellent and not something we would have discovered of our own accord. Food and wine top noth including a cheese and meats platter, some black truffle paste, a 30 yr aged balsamic, a whole pasta dish (out of a choice of 4) and some incredible tiramisu

Fantastic Night Out

We loved every stop of this tour. Our guide was extremely personable and made everyone feel very welcome in our group of 10. That takes special talent. We learned a lot in a short period of time (all while eating and drinking delicious treats) about everything from the cuts of meats to the process for making and labeling wines, cheeses, and balsamic vinegars. If you leave this tour without a full stomach and a bit of a wine high, that's you're own fault. What a wonderful way to spend a night in Rome. We only wish that we had taken this tour sooner in our trip!

This is a wonderful food and wine tour. Our guide Luisa was engaging, informative, and her English was perfect. The group was small-only 7 of us, which made it easy to chat with our fellow group members. I would recommend this tour to any food and wine lovers. You won’t be disappointed.

Food and wine Tour featuring a private rooftop view of the Trevi Fountain

Our guide Lucca was amazing, fun and knowledgeable. Food was incredible. The first stop being the best for the food experience. You must do it at night to really enjoy it the best. Especially the view of the Trevi Fountain. It needs to be a small group. They had too many people booked so they split the group into two groups and it changed our time to an hour later. Wasn't a problem for us, but of the four tours we booked with Viator, they changed something on every single one and notified us after the window to cancel for a full refund had closed.

The first stop was a hidden gem in plain sight, the view of the fountain from up high was a great treat and not one achieved on your own.

Delightful

Having been to Rome before, we choose this since it was an evening tour and included wine & food. Louisa, our guide, was knowledgeable, in all things food, wine & Rome. It was a delight to learn about the different meats, cheeses & processing of both as well as being able to taste all along with some very good wine. I would highly recommend this outing for its historical value as well as the food & wine. We visited the Pantheon, L'Antica Salumeria and walked around the area ending at the Spanish Steps. The room overlooking the Trevi Fountain allowed a wonderful view along with specialty wines & food. The meal in the restaurant was also very good. Again, we would highly recommend this tour.
