Great experience! Alex is very passionate about what he does and it translates to a memorable night exploring the stars in the Atacama Desert. I highly recommend. We had to reschedule twice due to weather, and Alex was very communicative and accommodating. He also has a very cute dog, and a sweet mom who prepared empanadas for us.

Chiles' best night out!

Absolutely loved this trip to see the stars. The visibility of the stars was so much greater than in San Pedro de Atacama, and the small group meant that we could ask questions and take plenty of turns at the telescopes. Alex was the highlight - his enthusiasm and knowledge were contagious and by the end of the evening it felt like we were saying good bye to a family member.

Alex (tour guide) has an amazing knowledge of astronomy. Tour began with photographing group and individuals against the Southern Hemisphere Milky Way, teaching photo techniques. Then viewing star clusters only visible from Southern Hemisphere. Alex’s parent’s provided wine, tea, and snacks. After viewing Alex printed out three photos per group and sent the rest to us via Snapchat or Dropbox. Best tour in Atacama.

Alex was an amazing thorough and thoughtful guide with an impeccable grasp of his subject matter (the entire night sky!) and also an ability to take some truly jaw dropping photographs to ensure that the experience is coded for all time. The very intimate group setting and the really tasty cheese empanadas were not expected, but were greatly appreciated. This tour is highly highly recommended to anybody hoping to spend a wonderful evening under the amazing Atacama sky
