We had a nice activity, but we absolutely did not get what we paid for and what this advertisement is saying.
Not picked up and no refund

When my friend and I initially booked the tour we were informed that we would be picked up from out hotel at 20:30. Being the paranoid creature that I am, I dragged my friend out to wait at 20:00 (the time the tour was reported to start). We waited, 20:30 came and went, at around 20:40 we attempted calling the company and could not get our call to go through. I emailed the tour company at 20:48 asking if we were supposed to go elsewhere for pick up and we did not hear back. At 21:00 we gave up and retired into our hotel room. At 21:40 we received a knock on the door informing us that there was a tour and we were supposed to wait outside and down the street from the hotel entrance (definitely not specified in the pick up email). At this point, we were already in our super cozy pajamas and I was actually tucked in for the night before getting up to answer the door. When initially talking to the hotel staff at the door, I understood it to be that a message had just been left, but we believe that the tour could have arrived for pick up at that time. Either way, we had been waiting for half an hour after the initial pick up time communicated to us without seeing any sign of the tour that we were supposed to be joining. The next morning I had attempted to email the tour company once more and did not receive any response. We were finally able to get a call to go through and were able to talk with a great representative named Marco. He listened to what had happened and attempted to find a solution, however he was limited to what the company would let him do. In the end we were told that we could either attend the tour the following night (the last night we were in the area) or not go and not get a refund. As far as we were concerned, we wanted to actually see the stars. However, the event was cancelled due to weather and we were not issued a refund as they considered us a no-show from the first night, despite us waiting a reasonable amount for the tour pick-up. It was not us that was a no-show, but rather them. If the tour did show up at the 21:40, it is still unacceptable that they would expect us to wait for over an hour past the specified pick up time without any sort of communication. Additionally, the pick up point of a few meters down the street would not have made any difference as we would have been able to see the tour group if it was identified. We waited, we even showed up early just in case, to charge us as no show is not appropriate.
