This tour is a must-do!! We had done a salt flats day tour the day before this and were underwhelmed so we were a bit nervous about this tour. But this was light years better! Our tour guide, Daniel, was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. You could tell he really loved what he does, he loved the history of the area, and he loved taking really cool panoramas and pictures of the people on the tour :). You’ll make a few different stops on this tour and he would always explain the history (in Spanish and English) and then let you roam for a bit so it provides a bit of flexibility which was lovely. Great tour!!!

Great tour of Valle de La Luna and Valle de Marte! The views are otherworldly. Our guide was knowledgeable of the geological history, spoke English well and had a good sense of humor. Only one short, moderately strenuous hike at the beginning (considering altitude) and leisurely walks after.

Had a fantastic tour at the Valley of the Moon with Jared as guide and Ariel as driver. Jared was extremely knowledgeable on the area and geology in particular, and handled both English and Spanish speaking guests with ease, never making us feel like one group was being unfairly prioritised. We got snacks on the trip and the only slight issue was a 1h+ wait for the sunset at the end, but it was worth the wait. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide was amazing and very knowledgable, and it was fun to meet several people from all over the world. I think it should be renamed "hike" instead of "tour" though (I wasn't prepared and stupidly wore sandals - I don't recommend that). Be prepared to walk through lots of sand and rock, and bring sunscreen as the sun is SUPER strong. Definitely need to do this tour if you're seeing Atacama for the first time.

Perfect amount of time, beautiful sites, and the best tour guides of our entire trip! Pick up @ our hotel was right on time, bus was comfortable, and the views were tremendous. This tour does require a good amount of walking multiple stops, not all at once--nothing too strenuous, but you should be aware, and bring lots of water and sunscreen! Opportunities to do a few harder walks/climbs, but no one had to do anything beyond their comfort zone. The sunset has to be seen to be believed--amazing.

The place looked Martian and epic. We also visited Valle de Martes/Muertes which was interesting. It was unforgettable. The tour operator picked us up from Hotel in time and all went smoothly. It'd be cheaper booking locally but booking via Viator just took the anxiety out as we could plan ahead

This afternoon tour is a great way to explore Moon Valley. It has 4 stops in moon valley before the final sunset viewpoint. We got an opportunity to walk through caves, hike up a sand dune and visit death valley. Our guide, Pablo, was knowledgeable and friendly. The best part was the coffee and snacks at sunset point, which no other tour seemed to provide. Our evening was capped off with a gorgeous moonrise over the mountains. All in all, highly recommended.
