Veronica was our guide. Born and raised in San Sebastián and a true foodie, she brought the love of her town and the passion for great food and drink throughout the tour. She had high energy and in depth knowledge of the town history and the best pintxos in all of San Sebastián. Highly recommend you go on the tour and if you are lucky you will Veronica as your guide.

There are tours that you take that you enjoy enough to say you're glad you spent money on it, and then there are tours you take where you say it was one of the key highlights of the trip. This was one of the highlights! Guillermo lead an excellent pintxo tour! We went to several pintxo bars, at each one he gave us a list of food options and let us know which wine was paired with this stop's food. A great way to do it so that everyone isn't forced to eat the same food, and anyone with food issues (gluten for example) can choose something compatible. He was a great tour guide, gave us lots of helpful insights into local culture, the pintxo scene, restaurant recommendations, etc... Book this tour! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

A decent selection of bars, but could have been better!

We have been to pinxto bars before. We don’t think the selection on this tour was outstanding. Our tour guide was not as informative as other guides we have encountered in our prior tours. There was very little history about the town, the region, the inner workings of pinxto bars and the history and process of the experience within a context. Basque has a rich history and food is a big part of that, learning about it and selecting a better quality bars would have enhanced the experience.

GUILLERMO was a great tour guide! He took us to some popular places and some spots that were under the radar which was a nice mix. He started us with some simple pintxos to the more complex ones. Oh and the wines were delicious. Highly recommend. Also, a nice way to meet other people traveling around Spain!

This was fantastic. Veronica was an amazing local guide and as well as lots of tasty food and wine we learnt so many interesting facts about San Sebastián and the Basque region and culture. Veronica was our tour guide. The passion and love for the Basque food and culture really made the tour that much more enjoyable, bringing us to 6 of some of her favourite spots and showing us the best pinxos and wine in each I can't recommend this tour enough. Great Pintxo Tour with Wine

My wife and I visited San Sebastian in September 2019 and on 10 September we joined a Pintxo Tour with Wine. This would have to one of the greatest small private tours we even been on. The tour was conducted by a fabulous young woman who knew the pintxo scene in San Sebastian and also had a good understanding of Spanish wines. There were only 8 people in the group and over a period of two hours we visited 8 pintxo bars where we got to taste several pintxos specifically ordered by the tour guide - not just the food already sitting on the bar tops. The night ended with a cheese cake over which we got to pour some magnificent cherry liqueur. We would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was so much more than a pintxos and wine tour. Our guide Veronica was funny and entertaining and at the same time she told us a lot about San Sebastian and the Basque country. She had a lot of stories to tell about food, traditions, celebrations and gave us many recommendations where else to try pintxos (and where not). I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn from a local about pintxos, wine, and in general about San Sebastian.

First, our guide, Almudena is simply awesome! She and her family are from San Sebastian and have been involved in culinary business for a long time. Naturally, Almudena knows the city from the inside out. In addition to this local advantage, Almudena brings the right energy to the tour with lots of humor and stories. For the record, I eat so much normally. At the end of the tour, I could not eat anymore and definitely had enough wine. Even if I had done the tour myself, I would have paid 60-80 euros. With everything organized by Almudena, this was a deal for me. My favorite pintxos were seafood and foie. At the end of the tour we also had a delicious cheese cake. I lost count of the pintxoss I had, but I am guessing it was about 12. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. The tour was so well-organized, and Almudena was able to lead the group in the packed Old Town of San Sebastian on a Friday evening. I loved every second of it.

This is an amazing experience that you could never do the same way on your own! Ten of us were taken to 6 different restaurants by a knowledgeable, hospitable guide who then brought out platters of different pintxos at each place and bottles of compatible wines. We ate outdoors, enjoyed each others company, and tasted foods we wouldnt have otherwise - all beautiful and delicious. Our 16 year old granddaughter loved this experience too! The guide Iniago made everyone feel welcome and involved. Special requests were also honored! This was clearly the highlight of San Sebastian for all of us!
