Overview

    Very disorganized. Tour guides don’t really do anything after the first island. You don’t do anything Except sit on a boat for 30 minutes on the second island. You only have enough time to eat on the third island. A third island has almost nothing to see

    Well worth it! Great and clean boat! Definitely be sure to wear close toed shoes for the volcano, and bring a swim suit for the hot springs. You can change on the boat, but it’s easier to wear it under or bring a wrap to change.

    We enjoyed the time on the boat and the beautiful scenery, especially around Oia, and enjoyed the volcano caldera hike. However, we wished the guide had given the information he gave at the top to everyone before the walk so that those who couldn’t finish the hike (or chose not to)could hear it, too. Also, we thought 2 hours on Thirassia was an hour too long. No one from our group hiked to the village and there was little to do there after lunch. We were not impressed with our guide Ulysses, but crew was great. We thought it interesting no one went over safety rules or showed us where life jackets were (did they have them?). All in all, we would not recommend—we are in our 70s and did not swim— maybe it’s a better activity for the younger set.

    This is a great tour especially during the off tourist season because it wasn’t too crowded! Our guide was knowledgeable and made the caldera hike extra interesting with the facts and history!! The water to get to the hot springs was COLD in April so beware - but even if you don’t jump in this trip is well worth it!!!

    The trip was lovely. The English was very understandable, and the tour guide was nice. The boat was pretty as well. Do not expect a wellness resort for the hot springs, but it is quite an adventure. The tour was informative, and the view was amazing.
