This is something that everyone should see. Art portion could be better, but the details of Tito and the bunker and the pride the people have for their munitions factory, “their” bunker, Tito, and Yugoslavia runs deep and should not be missed. It will become “fancy” some day but for bow it’s small, local, and “an experience.”

We took the tour of Tito's Bunker on a weekday in January and it wound up being a private tour! Always nice. Our guide was exceptional - smart, detail-oriented, and thoroughly answered all of our questions. The directions for taking the tour could be clearer - you need to be at the Bunker by the start time, NOT the tourist office, which is the address listed as the meeting place. I advise arriving at the tourist office 30 minutes before your Bunker tour. Overall, excellent look into relatively recent Balkan history - we walked away having learned a lot about Tito and his regime that we, as Americans, were never taught. 10/10!

Great tour! Visit Konjic is a friendly and affordable travel agency that arranged the tour. I traveled from Sarajevo by bus and Martina helped me with logistics. The tour leader who drove us to the bunker was very nice and the guides at the bunker were patient and informative. Many thanks for the wonderful experience, Konjic and the bunker are not to be missed!
