The visit for the Study Tour to Srebrenica was led by Adnan, both driver and guide for the day. Outside of Bosnia-Herzegovina we know some of what happened through the media, however with Adnan’s experience and knowledge we got more of an insight of the build up of the events around July 1995.
The first visit of the day was to the cemetery. A moving experience for anyone. From here we moved onto the Museum where more of the moving testimonies were shown including a half an hour video. A further moving experience.
The last part was the Memorial, where again further moving experiences were sought.
After a drive into the town afterwards and a view point overlooking the town, by a road which am pleased Adnan had drove us too as it was extremely high up we then made our way back to Sarajevo. We elected in the car not to stop for a late lunch on the way back.
Certainly not a trip for children, but for those who have interests in the former Yugoslavia or 20th century history in general I would suggest as a learning experience to gauge an understanding then this tour is one to consider.

This tour opened my eyes to the fact that human beings can become inhumane in a very short time and for the silliest reasons. I wish all the people in this planet visit the genocide site and try their best to prevent it from happening again in future.
Finally Adnan the tour guide made me really love Bosnian people he was so helpful and patient and did his best answering my endless questions even though some of them were very sensitive. Thanks Adnan for the valuable information and I wish that this genocide never be forgotten and never happen again.

We have never had such a good guide as Adnan. During the 2.5 hour ride to Srebrenica he told us everything about Bosnia’s history and the war and the genocide in Srebrenica. He did this with a great sense of responsibility and the importance of his work, to teach others about Bosnia’s history and the full story of the war. He nuanced every piece of information and recognized his job as a duty to raise more awareness about (the denial of) the war. We visited the cemetery and the Potocari Memorial Center, as well as the town of Srebrenica. Adnan allowed us all the time we needed to walk around, ask questions and take breaks. All this, together with sense of humour, tips for nice places to visit in Sarajevo, and a nice car ride with an amazing view of the mountains. We really appreciated the tour and the wonderful guide and learned a lot of information and stories that we will never forget. Thanks Adnan!

When someone visitis Bosnia it is very important to follow this day trip. Adnan our guide for the day, was excellent into explaining this sensitive issue and describing what happened those days in Sebrenica.
This tour is a must for everyone who wants to seek answers and experience those dark days of the Bosnian war .
The cemetary along with the Memorial museum is an unforgettable experience for those tourists who travel not only for fun but for knowledge . Adnan helped made this day unforgettable. Excellent professionalism . Highly recommended !!

My son and I went on a number of tours with this company. 2 with Adnan and one with a lady whose name I have regrettably forgotten. In all cases the tours were of the highest quality. The knowledge of the guides was second to none and they went the extra mile to make sure we saw and learned about everything we wanted to. The Srebrenica trip is one I highly recommend, especially if you have teenagers. As so many people said, our guides included, these guys are the future, so they have to understand the past in order that it can never be repeated!
