Make your way to a farm and vineyard near Catania, where you’ll be welcomed with a spread of classic Sicilian treats. When the weather is cool, the tasting may take place at the farm’s 1800 palmento, the stone basins used for making traditional wine. In spring and summer months, enjoy your wine and food in a pretty outdoor setting surrounded by Mediterranean plants.
Start with four different wines, which pair beautifully with a range of products in olive oil, including black olives, green olives, dried tomatoes, and mushrooms.
Try some Salame Sant’Angelo di Brolo, taste two different kinds of cheese, Sicilian pâté, and marmalade made with oranges and tangerines.
