Kompong Phluk Floating Village Tour – Half Day

Well spend day, really informative guide. As we were in dry season we could see all the structure of the village, something incredible, it will be worth to go there in rainy season one day, just to compere. Restaurant on the middle of lake vas nice touch, still hard to belive how this lake expands, and even in dry season it's masive, and hard to believe in the point where restaurant it was 1m deep

The tour is very good. Pick-up is offered and then you go by bus to the boat. With the boat you sail along the canal and see the houses on pears. At the middle of the village you get off the boat and start walking. We stopped to talk to the children, saw local activities. Then on the boat again and towards Tonle Sap Lake. There you will spend the sunset on the floating platform where food and drinks are available. The experience is really great. Our guide on January 24th 2020 was very smart and willing for us to get the most out of this experience. BUT: be very very careful when booking and indicating the pick-up point. I selected the only hotel that was mentioned there (I walked from my hotel to the pick up point), even though on the confirmation it was said that the Agency will call me to confirm the pick up point!!! I waited there for 20 minutes and nobody came. I was so furious. I called 30 times to the phone number indicated but nobody answered. When I was almost to give up, a lady came to pick up and said that they don't use that number and that she is sorry... My feelings were so bad. So, be very very careful when booking and selecting the picking up point. After that nobody will help you. You must be at the pick up point and wait there until someone comes. Fortunately the price is good and the tour the same. So my review is, in the end, a good one. I reccomend the tour!

We had a good and interesting tour to the floating villages. Everything was planned and worked perfect.

When we booked the tour in February waters were very low so village was not actually floating. Though, it was still nice to see houses on the very hight poles and learn more about the life of people who live there. The tour was very nice and informative. Our guide G1 was amazing! He shared the details about how locals live and he was very honest. I would still recommend the tour, however the best time to make it would be in the rainy season.

This was interesting and good value for money. Guide fun and knowledgeable. Finished with nice sunset with a drink at the lake. Front end admin and pick up a bit long winded but once away from ‘office’ all was good.

1:30pmにホテルへピックアップが来ました。その後湖へ着いたのは2:40pm頃。ホテルへ帰ってきたのは19:30pmころだった。 ツアー自体はとても良かったです。ただ、乾季だったため水が少なくボートのスピードが遅く感じた。 もし行くなら次回は雨季に行ってみたいと思います
