Choose from a 24- or 72-hour ticket and then climb aboard your distinctive red double-decker bus at the City Sightseeing stop closest to you and commence your tour of Scandanavia’s most stylish city. With your ticket, you can remain on the bus for the entire loop or disembark whenever a monument or museum demands your attention. Cruise the sophisticated streets and listen to informative audio commentary that details the Viking past and prosperous present of the capital. Scan the skyline for magnificent monuments like Gamla Stan (the atmospheric Old Town), the majestic Royal Palace, and the perfectly preserved Viking ship within the Vasa Museum. Disembark at Kulturhuset to immerse yourself in interesting exhibitions and sample some regional delicacies in a rustic local restaurant.

Both tours were informative and covered different areas. Was told the bus had glass ceiling, but was just a small portion on the top/sides (I like to take pics and can only do well from one side). Same with boat tour. My rule is pick the right side. Covered some different areas than Hop-on-Hop off didn't. Both worthwhile.

This sightseeing tour was great! It brought us to all of the stops we wanted to see. We toured the whole city first, then hopped off to the sights we wanted to visit. If you have limited time to visit, this tour will give you a bird's eye view of Stockholm.

Was there in the down season. Very slow moving -- bus stayed at stops for a very long time waiting to see if others would show up. Also, one bus was VERY old and half of the sound systems did not work/knobs were broken off/etc. Was okay...but definitely not great.

This is a good way to see Stockholm - see the sights, get off where you want to explore, hop back on and continue throughout the day. Saves some foot wear plus there are earplugs so you get to also hear about the sites as you pass them. Good when you have limited time in Stockholm.
