New Years Eve Cruise on Timber Ferry

The experience of seeing the fireworks from the water and being part of the parade was amazing. The food drinks and service from the crew were second to none. The only thing that let the night down was it doesn't stipulate how many people are allowed upstairs during the cruise. We were lucky and got onto the boat quickly so we got upstairs. Initially they said 45 could stay upstairs then that was reduced to 40 and eventually to 30 when we were stationery. The Captain was very strict with the numbers even though the crew didn't seem as bothered. It became apparent that this affected people downstairs as they wanted to come upstairs. Maybe they should sell upstairs and downstairs tickets separately. The reason the Captain was strict on numbers were safety issues with the boat listing heavily if people were more on one side than the other to watch the fireworks. When selling tickets in future perhaps it should be taken into consideration the safety aspects of the boat prior to selling the amount of tickets they did on the night. My husband and a few others had to sit on the other side of the boat so other people could watch the fireworks going off to try and keep the balance of the boat. and keep
